After so many years stuck with 5 civs... I'd like to say that we've been hiding from you all our new plans ^^' Starting with WotTA Gamma, WotTa will include many new civs, being one of them the Mexicans. Check the Mexican thread at our site, http://wotta.freehostia.com (needs registration at the forum).
Don't forget to download the patch! It's important

So do I... By the way, it's better to have at least one mod with them Mexicans in it than a dozen featuring the ever present United bloody States.

lol, I didn't intend to be mean! I'm indeed lucky that the Mexicans finally found a place. For NE they were just never a relevant civ due to the set focus, so now I'm happy that I can say "if you want to play Mexico, go and checkk WotTA!"
Bloody hell, that doesn't include the things I agreed to do for WotTA, I hope... (?)

Lol, calm down Peugeot. That's the release of WotTA BETA, your stuff will be in the other version, WotTA GAMMA, so are the new civs. ^^'
Could you, at the last moment, give the Argentines a bonus against Germany???

PS: people not watching the world cup are either silly or dead, and will therefore not understand what I'm talking about. Lord Tahattus can impossibly be one of these, he'll know that his country has been defeated the country I'm said to live in (and that I'm not at all proud of it, because I think the Netherlands team is a bunch of arrogant amateurs)

Lol, maybe... I'll consider it, though i think that Brazilians should get a 50% advantage over argentines (but no 50% dutch obnus over brazil!)
Our great RM designer, sufjanfan, has just released info about our newest map, sertão.
As he stated:
Sertao is a dry, arid region in Brazil. It is interrupted by the Sao Fransisco River, which at different times may be flooded, dry, or in between. Players start as lines on either side of the river, and there are no trade routes. Hunting may be difficult, but there are berry bushes scattered among the trees.
When the river is flooded, there will be three native sites and extra vegetation and animals, and the river will only be crossable by ship. When it is dry, there will be only one native and less resources, but the river and canyon will be traversable. When the river is in between, units may cross, but ships travel in the deeper part, and there will be two natives.

@peugeot: Actually - after THAT game - the GERMANS should have a bonus against argentinians
Bloody patriot! No, the Argentines should just get Diego Maradona as an explorer replacement, with the special ability to do a press conference that will stun all enemies within range...

That idea sounds so hilarious I don't think there's a way I can not make that into a cheat unit.

In case you didn't notice, it was down yesterday as well. I think Arcalion's spam has become too much for the server...
