Okay, I've been testing it out, unfortunately I played against the PC so I have no idea how it would be against a real person. I just wanted to post my general BO and see what you guys could add. I'm doing this particular one with Ottos but I'd love info about any other civs, especially France.
Discovery
1 Vill Gathering wood crates (unless there are food crates, food first) all others herd the deer back to TC and start gathering food. Get the crate villager to build a house.
Scout with explorer and try for food or wood treasures ideally, mainly just crackshot or creep something to get the XP for shipments. Usually the first thing I send is wood shipment or ATP so that I can build the TPs easily enough. You could probably get away with villager shipments though. Try to have one built before transition so that they should both be perfectly timed. I recommend the Aztec one first if possible.
Transition
I usually shift 5-7 villagers onto wood due to the natives being expensive in wood and food. Get the second up during or by the end of the transition so you can immediately get the units pumping.
Age 2
Straight away, send Native treaties, even if the second TP isn't built. Train around 5ish Aztec Eagle Warriors to deal with infantry. You can try to add more Maya if you want but focus on the Eagle Warriors to kill Jan or etc shipments.
Keep putting the pressure on and try to get a Mosque up at home if the other guy just won't quit and tries to turtle. If they hide behind outposts, get an artillery foundry and use Grenadiers to take down the towers since natives tend to have weaker siege. Make sure to keep raiding them and control the map to stop them getting to Fortress and blasting you away with cannons.
---------------------------------------------
Okay so that's the idea so far, I left it fairly open for different shipments and etc so any suggestions would be welcome.
My biggest problems so far have been ageing incredibly slowly because I only had one hunt that was 1/3 of the map away and sometimes not being able to find the damn TPs. Usually they are around the center flanks though so that shouldn't be too bad.
