Here's a short example:
Me (over mic): Now, let's all join hands and sing a song against racism! *begins singing*
(random player): f u
Me: Me?
(random player): yea u
Me: So you're for racism, then?
(random player): stfu noobAlso, I'm writing an article on CS player categorisation and raging techniques. It's a fascinating subject, I'll probably get round to finishing and posting it soon.
Here's a snippet:
The NewbieAffectionately called noobs by the vast majority of CS players, The Newbie is perhaps the only sane one to regularly frequent CS servers. They are new to the game, in some cases playing it for the first time, and come in two distinct varieties. Firstly is the “decent” Newbie. They ask questions, try their hardest and generally die hard and fast. Other players dislike these newbies particularly, and here is a transcript of a recent incident.
imnew: hey guys, how do u plant the bomb?
Eaglefire: stfu noob!!1
imnew: dude, i just asked u a question
Eaglefire: ffs
The other variety of newbie is the arrogant newbie. They haven’t played the game much, and expect everyone else to teach them everything and go easy on them. They very easily turn into Scared Paranoids, as they fail to understand how anyone could kill them without them seeing the enemy first. They use huge amounts of profanity to appear tough, and when anyone asks them to stop this behaviour, they become defensive and have massive outbursts.
Raging Techniques – I am firmly against raging the decent newbies, but the arrogant newbies are easy prey. If they ask you a question, at first refuse to give an answer. If they then become irate and start attacking you, give them a wrong answer. For this example, you should know that F10 exits the game.
shut up and die!!!: shut up!!!1 just tell me wut to do u bastard or ill kill u!!!
shut up and die!!!: HOW DO U SHOW TEH FPS!!?
| Outlandish |: Press F10.
shut up and die!!! has left the game. They may then reconnect, and will likely become even angrier. Your raging is then complete.
I also intend to post it on the official Counterstrike forums, where I predict it shall be flamed along with my past two threads. Luckily, the nature of the post will mean comebacks are easy to throw back.
