These several days I played the game "Codename Panzer: Phrase 1". I wanted my RTS fix, and my computer's so totally not up to the newer RTSs, thus I obtained this game.

Anyways, the game has a lot of the features of Company of Heroes. Things like side/back armor is weaker, mines, experience, etc. It also reminds me of Call of Duty amongst other things, probably due to the campaign style and several oddly similar maps/names (I thought there was a guy call Barnes in CoD, and the Caen-canal map was really similar). Anyways, its a great game, albeit some realism here and there mostly due to the weak weapons and really short artillery range.

Anyways, 3 things hurted it - gamespy, starforce, and bad marketing. Buy anyhow, its far more fun than AoE3 at any rate.

Most games are more fun than AoE3.

Indeed. But anyways, it seems like having the same feel as CoH but an earlier game. Besides, in CoH you can't play the Russians.
