Why hello there new guy. Look at you, all sharp and witty waiting to spill some of that onto our community forums. Well, before you do that there's some things you should do first. You don't have to, really, you can skip it all. Actually, the mere fact that you opened this thread tells me you're really insecure about yourself and should probably just avoid forumming altogether.
Oh right, stuff:
An Introduction to our forums - A lot of text you'll never read. But if you have questions go there.
Australians are jerks
KS hates black people, including himself.
A Stalker's Guide to our Forummers - contains intriguing information on forummers. None of which post here anymore. There's also pictures of white teenager nerds if you're into that kind of thing.
Meteora will offer you fish, decline.
Signature Guide - A guide to having obnoxiously shiny signatures. I hear the more smilies you have there the cooler you are.
Contrary to what Australians will say, Canada jokes are still in. Use them accordingly.
Beware of dog
Cheesewiz and Elpea > Shala
Some elitest jerks

A message from DrNick:
So it has come to my attention that some people have a hard time fitting in here despite the fact that things have become a little more welcoming in the past few months and that got me thinking. Maybe we need an introduction to Saloon culture. So if you read this before making a new thread, maybe you won't feel so left out!
Anyway, here are a few tips:
1.Have a point This may seem obvious to most until they read the threads here. It's sometimes hard to discern the point of something that's been battered in irony and deep fried in saloon culture. But if you make a thread, please, please have a clear goal in mind.
2.Fad threads are teh evil Old timers sometimes make these so it might seem like a good idea. It's not.
3.If it sounds like someone isn't being genuine, they probably aren't If you find yourself asking "Did he just say that?!?!" then the odds are, the poster was being sarcastic. Take a second look before flying off the handle.
4.Silly is encouraged Enough said. Please don't confuse silliness with nonsense. There is a difference.
5.Saloon Core Group Check out the thread. This is a great intro to "Saloon Culture".
That's it for now. Thanks for listening and be sure to tip your waitresses.
