The Cottage Cheese
Granny came back from milking the highland sheep. It was a windy day and she held onto her hat like a beggar to a shekel.
"Cottage cheese for lunch, my lads." She smiled, heaving the bucket of calcium enriched liquid into the hut that served as their home in the hills of Scotland.
After a while it was lunchtime and they sat down at the oak table, Scott, Granny and the sheepdog, in front of the meal.
"Now, lets pray top the great Elpea, our provider and our haggis slayer."
"Amen to that!" grinned Scott before tucking into the food.
"I haven't finished!" Granny called out, but it was too late. Scott had eaten some of the sacred cattle snack. There was a thunderous roar, the log hut shook and out of the window they saw dark brown cloud in the foggy skies.
"HAGGIS!!!" The sheepdog shrieked and lay under the table.
After a few minutes the log hut was covered in the demonized haggis. They came in through the door, the window and the floors. If you go up to Loch lomond, to this day you will notice a large brown heap on one of the hills.
