Yeah...a lot of my friends are starting to get married and I'm only 21. Also, what about back in the pre-1920s?
Yeah but wasn't the life expectancy low compared to today?

Sadly we're moving away from each other for at least 6 months this august. I will literally be halfway across the globe in relation to her. I'm new with long-distance relationships as well, but I think it was good for us to show our commitment to each other before we leave. Still not so sure about sex though.
This situation ruined me as a person and set up many years of relapses and confusion. I'll never do a long distance relationship again. Though, hopefully it will work out differently for you, and goodluck.
Anyone under 25 claiming to be in a relationship kind of gets a rolleyes from me, but good luck on your new found love Oliver and I hope you find yourself happy with the choice you made.
My two 19 year old friends got engaged on the weekend, and they're not the first. My mother was 21 when she married and had me at 23. It's silly to make such sweeping generalisations.

No no, I agree with her it's harder to keep a relationship when you're younger, less mature and less prepared to settle down. But then again, when do people EVER do the right things when in love?

Your idea of what people do in love is heavily influenced by being below 25 years of age.

Can you do the Double Yoda?
A sexual move, where you do a double backflip, insert your penis into the orifice of choice, and scream, "Afraid are you?"

I'm sorry to hear that and I hope you've recovered, but I have good hopes for our relationship. We already decided to meet up again for a week by the end of September. We will do a road trip through Sweden, living like luxury hippies.

As for age, I'll be 24 this year, and she'll be 23. (My brother, who is 27, is still together with his teenage love.) People mature differently. I think we have a healthy view of what to expect from the other. We are very supportive of each other, and while we both tend to prefer having our head closer to the clouds than the ground, we are well acquainted will all the hardships life can offer.

Also, the more time I spend with her, the more I see my love for her personality rub off on her appearance. Little by little, I'm discovering news things in her that I hadn't thought so much about before, but really suit her perfectly. She dresses amazingly well, for instance. (Perhaps not so surprising considering her major is textile and fashion design.)

So... so far so good, haha.

IL, weren't you making out with a girl on a windowsill in Israel when your building got hit with an RPG or something like that?

Oh yeah, you live and learn and I finally closed that saga off in December once and for all, and all it took was a 1,500km flight. I just though I'd put my two cents in - honestly I do wish you the very best.

um, you got "hit with an RPG"??

so... did some copy of World of Warcraft just knock you upside the head, or does RPG have some other meaning that I'm not currently aware of?

Yeah, I like that idea. WOW shurikens. That would probably actually work out better than the Molotov idea. Not sure of how well the game boxes could retain the alcohol and fire and they're not very aerodynamic either.
