At least show a better taste in music...

Can you do the Double Yoda?

Speaking about music, anybody have any comments on how Dubstep is the genre to play nowadays?

Had a really cool dream this morning. I was making a Peloponnesian War campaign/mod for AOEO. You could be Athens or Sparta, and either side could win. The scenarios all had dialog boxes and decision trees in them, and whatever choices you made, determined which scenario would load next. Or it would set a higher or lower difficulty setting, or hidden areas and items would be enabled. And there were flying purple hippos that were messengers from Apollo.

edit: so uh in short, I dreamed I was playing AOM but with crafting

I had a crazy dream. I had inhereted a giant mansion that was basically a huge room in the middle with several floors of balconies ringing it that had doors to smaller rooms in them (think giant hotel lobby like the kind with the elevator in the middle). There was all sorts of crazy shit in there including controls for the cieling. It had a giant mural on it but you could press a button and it would open up to the sky making it like some kind of superdome/spanish villa hybrid.

In the end, we held a giant party that we couldn't afford in it.

The trick for good dreams is to set your alarm early and have about 4 hours of quality snoozing time. You do need to have quite a lot of free time for this though.

Of course, all genocidiacs (sic) have to give themselves up if they're asked that question. It's only natural.

Hey Jarrod, sorry to jump in on that but I'm really interested in Lucid Dreaming. Was it just a random one off thing or do you try for WILD/MILD dreaming etc?

Also; just as good as the ol' "if he's a cop, he has to tell us when he's asked!" line.

It was entirely unplanned. I've held a passing interest in them since I heard about them, but never actively went out of my way to facilitate one. I was just hungover, tired, hot and dehydrated and that was somehow a winning combination for me.

Isn't that somewhat like introducing ladybirds to get rid of greenflies? They just end up taking over.

Reading about the Orion project is a tad depressing. We've been sitting on tens of thousands of nuclear devices for decades, and what we do say?

"Oh, These things are scary, let's take them apart and not use them to go to the stars."

*sigh*
