The Olympic torch came through Henley earlier, had a bit more excitement than usual - This was taken by one of my colleagues (please note features full frontal and rear nudity (male)).

TBH I'm sorta surprised it's still there too. But we've all had our fun in the office now anyway, and the guy that filmed it has got a few beer tokens out of it.

Unless I'm completely wrong, I was stood almost right next to you here, just after the Lloyds TSB wagon playing the awful music.

EDIT: And now I've streetviewed it to make sure I'm not completely ****ing insane - we *were* right there and totally missed the streaker. I heard later that there was one but assumed it was either way further up or when mr redgrave was rowing (by which point we'd left). Dunno what I was looking at, but I somehow missed my fill of naked dude.

It's good to see some activity, very refreshing

Personally I won't be following the olympics (besides for whatever news headlines I happen to see while browsing the news).

I was actually right at the end of Friday street so didn't see him either, the streaker was about 25m further along Thameside.

The streaker was one of the guys from Hot Gossip.

Hah I begun walking/jogging after this year's university lectures ended and my aim is to cover the whole of Kuopio where I live. Might go for a walk today if I deem that my right foot has healed up enough, something happened to it on monday so I've been letting it rest as it's quite painful when I do some odd motion.

I've lost just over 25 pounds in the last 15 weeks (that's 11.3 kilos or 1.8 stone to you non US types). Mostly by changing my diet but also I've been walking about 3 and a half miles a day for the past three or four weeks which has been great. I've worked my way up to about 4 mph (6.4 km/hr) which is a good pace for a walk.

On a completely unrelated note: I know a few Londoners post here, was anybody around the riots last year? I've been studying riots lately (mostly riots local to me) and I find them really fascinating so I'm curious to talk to someone who was there. If someone had pics or videos that would be even better.

That's amazing. I wish I could lose weight at that pace with any reliability I've now been on a diet for about 1 year and 9 months and I've lost 26ish kgs (57 lbs). Was down about 29 kgs but bounced up due to lots of restaurant eating with dad Aiming to get below 95kgs by the end of summer and hopefully near 90kgs by the end of the year.

It's slowing down a little bit now. I gained a ton of weight after my son was born (I'm a stress eater). I've lost all of that weight and I'm at my most stable weight now which is still much, much too high but my body is used to it and it's holding on to every last fat cell at this point (and I need to lose like another 130 lbs to be at a healthy weight).

We'll see what happens. 50 lbs is a lot of weight though so don't get discouraged! It's not about a temporary diet it's about lifestyle changes (you know that though, I'm sure).

Yeah, afraid so I'll persist since I now know what gets the weight to start going down, so I'm sure that I'll reach a good weight within a couple years.

Good luck with your weightloss too. Play with your kid(s?) a lot and consume energy that way

You've had a second kid? I seem to have missed that if you told us, belated congratulations.

As for the riots, I wasn't in London at the time, but one of the shops I walked past on the way to uni last year was completely gutted after being set on fire, nearly a year later it's still not reopened, and my Uni had some (about 3 I think) windows smashed and was closed for a day, hardcore I know

I assume not being rioted on is a good thing. I'm just a sucker for a good story. I've been going through the 92 LA Riots material that's available and it's fascinating. Especially when I compare it to what I remember (I was 11 at the time and I live pretty far from where the riots were going on).

Oh yeah, I had a son about 14 months ago so that makes two. I don't post much here anymore so... you know, I didn't really update you guys I guess.
