not sure about opensource, but free yes.
I am a big fan of prnt-scrn, or if you want, alt+prnt screen to capture an active window only!
And if you want to get really advanced, and you have vista or higher, the snipping tool can do wonders.

I'm sort of jumping the gun here, but my new job finds me AFK for the entire day most days. I'm also moving forward with a big minecraft project. As a result, I don't have much time for AOE3 or AOE3H.

Would depend on what my job would include I guess. If it was Saloon only I might be able to moderate since There're so many other mods they'd clean up after me, but otherwise and on other more active forums I'd probably suck
