Indeed, I wish the "thread has unread posts" -icon was a bit more responsive, so that it wouldn't show up as orange for weeks on end even though I've read the "new" post many times already.

Lost a couple of digital cameras, 2 camping knives, nVidia 3d glasses and a 6yo sat nav that was next to useless now, the conservatory doors were bust and are going to be replaced too.

VW are going to charge me �60 to reprogramme the car so the stolen key doesn't work remotely or in the ignition, a new key is probably about �150, and the insurance company wanted to replace the locks on the car which would have been >�1000, but I said no to that.

Had the police round yesterday evening, twice today and the issuance company round today as well.

Daft thing is they've nicked about �500 worth of stuff (if the stuff was actually new), my nice highly portable media centre under the TV would have been worth more than that alone, and all the police officers I've seen have said it's really strange

at least they didn't trash the place.

Maybe the cameras had a picture of something on them that MI5 wanted to keep hidden so they broke in and stole your cameras and then a couple other things so it wasn't too suspicious.

I have two kids now. My son just started at a new school at the beginning of last week so of course he's been sick all weekend (because kids are germ factories).

He's kind of a jerk when he's sick.

I didn't think of that, all that was on there were my Iceland holiday pics and a few pics of my flat.

Perhaps I photographed a secret Iceland nuclear facility by mistake or something, some of those dilapidated farmhouses looked highly suspicious!

They didn't steal my blender or paint my dog green though
