I felt ashamed at the two replays I posted a few days ago (which illustrated several problems I've been having, and my struggles at successfully pulling off the IOR). However, this was a much better game for me, even though I was going up against a lvl 24 player (while I'm at 19) and could only nab two Trade Post sites. It helped that he was somewhat cautious throughout, but as you can see there was a bit of back-and-forth.
Rating: 3
(Insert Rating analysis here)It kept my interest and had a few humorous points.
Additional Comments:I always thought you were supposed to set your trade posts on experience when doing silk road? You know so you can take advantage of those crates.
other then that you made good use of your grenadiers to crack that turtles shell and probely would have won if you you had kept a steady stream but then again you probely would have won that rush if you had kept a steady stream of anything.
Or you could have attacked those vills instead of that stable. And it would have ended there.
Why did you not build a second tc?
I thought your navy shipment landing in the middle of his fishboats was funny.I also liked when you chased those Longbow around his fort and ignored the cannon blasting your men to pieces that made me laugh out loud.
In the end with your better economy due to fishing won the game with a first to imperial.
He would have won if he had pushed his counter or if he had made a third tc(first one went got destroyed)and out economised you or if he had made a counter navy and wrested control of fishing rights from you.He just boomed/turtle but forgot about the economy part of booming.
