Second of many Special Ops senerios (ongoing). For the first see SpecialOps ; Shorefront Assault.
If you havent played it - youll be fine but i would reccomend it because its deffintly a little fun.
This map however contains many unique and fun opertunities. Although victory is still decently easy to achieve it is a little tougher and overall the map balance is much greater.
Some of the highlights
Beautiful introduction and transition cinema from Shorefront assault.
Hotswap through many units while mounting a march.
Set up and micro multiple gattling turrets while holding a barricade versus hordes of skrelet resistance.
Use the aid of a Rocket Birrage to aid your combat.
Fight to the top of a hill to destroy a huge fortress using a diverse army.
Overall, a much nicer map to play and a little easier on the eyes. Found playtesting more intresting and look foward to your reviews. Keep the comments and reviews coming so I know what to work on for the next senerio.
Working on eliminating a few minor bugs. For now you can just launch it through the senerio editor playtester as player 1 and itll work fine (PS its a little wait at the end destroying some dumb walls however thatll be fixed ASAP)

The map is very different so the playability factor is actually quite good...I would've given it a higher mark if you didn't have to play it in the scenario editor. It was a little tough on the hot swapping...it didn't always seem to swap easily.
It has a decent balance...though victory seemed assured from early on.
Totally cool idea...very different than any other scenarios I've played
Map Design: 3
The map was pretty good...terrain differences and water and cliffs were good...but no real eye candy to speak of...still very functional and you avoided the "flat map" issues that some guys have. The bits of wall have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many hit points!
The instructions were pretty basic but clear.
I enjoyed it....'cept the wall bits...and the fact I had to play it in the editor. Nice job...a little tweaking and it'd really rock!

Thanks AN - wall mod and playtester problems are #1 on my list for fixing atm. Hotswapping in the future will have some small mods making ti more useful for placing your units to cover areas effectivly. But of course - new map - new features. Im still learning a lot each time but in the process of my most in depth map yet (no hints at what it is :P)
