In this exciting scenario, you are pitted against the mighty British in a border war set in
Colonial New Jersey. Fight great battles and help New Sweden get rid of the
impending British threat. Scenario includes 4 objectives to make sure your gaming
expierience lasts as long as you want!

This is based on a true story so if you think "There was no place called New Sweden!" look it up. It was right on the Deleware River on the NJ side.

Anyway, this is my first AoE3 Scenario, so any comments would be obliged. Also, PLEASE RATE!!

Northern Marvin I will not give you a rating on this, because I am not the right person to, but I think it was pretty good ;-)

I like such scenarios, so I enjoyed the scenario very much!

Only bugs that I saw was:

If I pushed the Objectives button in the upper corner to the right, I could see all the objectives. Even those I had not come to yet.

The terrain you had made was very cool. I liked the mix with new england trees and nwt terrain. But thou could maybe had some more terrain elevations and eye candy!

I am sure this scenario will get a good rating!

Thank you very much! I appreciate the input and I will probably update this scenario soon.


PS. If you liked this scenario, I am planning another scenario "Maximum Security", so keep an eye out for it! Hopefully I'll get it done by the beginning of June.

Myself, I haven't got much time to work on the scenario I've just started at, because that I'll have to hurry up with some DDT's to a unit in a mod. But when I can, I try to work on my scenario, and I've got pretty far with it alredy :-)

It's playable but there are a few issues....see map design and balance for more...

Balance: 2
Not really much balance. The initial soldiers that come across never interfere with anything. They just wander without attacking. I was able to easily go to age 5 without much problem. The choke point at the river made it super easy to defend and I simply travois'd a ton of barracks and built some cannons which stopped anything that came across.

Creativity: 3
The idea is creative enough, but a better map design with elevation changes and some eye candy would've helped.

Map Design: 3
The design was ok but nothing special. You could really use some elevation differences...eye candy...and treasures. Also there is no War Chief and no Indian trading posts or trade route.

Story/Instructions: 3
The instructions were clear enough but you see every objective right from the start.

Additional Comments:
A few items here to mention. I won the scenario without ever attacking the fort...I didn't mean to win, but when I destoyed reds tc the game ended. Also I had to resign to exit the game even though I had a victory. This could be a great map to play with some adjustments. The AI should attack early and it would be more of a challenge. Also the AI didn't seem to upgrade any units.

thank you for your input. I will make these changes and then you could rate it again. The only thing I have to ask is how do you make the player complete all the objectives? I couldn't quite figure that one out.

Use these triggers in your scenario:

Use the effect: Objective Hide in the start of your scenario.
Use the: Objective Show when you want a special objective being possible to look at in the objectives window.
Use the: Objective Discover like you had used it.
And use the Objective Complete to make an objective complete with a green V.

no that i know. I mean how do you make it so that you HAVE TO COMPLETE ALL objectives, instead of just attacking their Town Center at the Start? Hmm.... I got some ideas but I'd like some other ppl's input.
