Roanoke 3: History and the Freemasons (Version 1.05)
Farther into the future the great Roanoke people and other newer friends who have survived still struggle to stop Jod and Ickh. This new area
of time is confusing to them, great changes of history have been made by Jod and Ickh to help their situation in the future, and to help the Ones("owns").
Their destiny will happen. The Freemasons are also trying to stop them and use Ones("owns") themselves, the Freemasons are only trying to gain power
by doing so. The strange people of the ruined Roanoke including Virginia and Brogs struggle to stop Daniel Boone and Jod from stopping them.

That's great to hear :). I may soon showcase the fourth Roanoke in the forums. I just need a name for it first. The fourth one is coming along nicely so far. |

I know from reading this comments page that you have heard this before, but the end cine won't work. I killed Copperaxe (all 900,000 hitpoints of him) and it gave me the win message and faded. It's been thirty minutes since then and I still have a black screen and cursor. |

Hmm... I really thought I had fixed that problem... When I tried it, it just took a while to load, but it seems like it's really not going to work for you... just go into the folder
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\Campaign\War Chief
then copy Roanoke3HistoryandtheOnes18.age3Xscn into
C:\Documents and Settings\Account Name\My Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\Scenario
Then play it yourself with the normal scenario loader thing. |

Sorry for the double-post, but this is an important question.
I am making a campaign about an independant colony, and I will need it playtested. I can think of no one better than you.
Just tell me how exactly to make it availible, and I'll give you what I have. |

If you're talking about the scenarios, then make sure you have the warchiefs expansion, and make sure you have the latest update. |

I know that this is a stupid question, but when you say that I have to use the installation and uninstallation programs, do you mean I have to use the ones included with your roanoke campaign (sorry if that doesn't make sense)? BTW, I saw a documentary about roanoke that said its first citizen was named Virginia Dare. Do you know a lot about Roanoke? |

Yes use those programs to install and uninstall. And yes, I do know a lot about Roanoke.
Virginia Dare was the first European baby to be born in the colony of Roanoke, so yes, technically the first citizen, if you consider citizenship being born there only. Remember, my story is also a fantasy story, at the same time as being historical.
My story goes like this, in Roanoke: The Lost Colony, the story mostly goes as normal in the beginning, Eleanor Dare, Virginia Dare's mother, is journeying in the colony of Roanoke with the other Roanoke people, and their leader, Eleanor's father, leaves to get more supplies for England. He leaves Eleanor in charge, however, I changed that part and left my fictional character Jish Sailorsman in charge.
When Jod(another character I made up) and his natives force back the Roanoke citizens, they decide they should leave the colony, and go to an island about 100 miles away, Croatoan.
It then cuts over to John, the one who went to England for supplies, it has him against the Spanish, and you have to stop them from destroying parts of England. Afterwards, about three years after John left england, he makes it back to Roanoke, with a new friend Mary(another made up character of mine).
When he gets there, he notices it's abandoned; he sees that the word Croatoan is carved into a fencepost, and he tries to head there, but the storms push his ship back, while Mary's ship somehow miraculously makes it.
Then it continues on through the rest of Roanoke: The Lost Colony... then Roanoke 2: Mysteries of the Ones(said as the word Owns) comes along, then finally this campaign, Roanoke 3: History and the Freemasons. I am at work on a fourth one aswell.[Edited on 02/06/08 @ 11:23 PM]

Thanks for sharing that useful info Cavetown!
I've already downloaded Roanoke 1 and 2, so I'm familiar with the series. Roanoke is hard, but it's so hard it's fun! |
