This mod adds long-range sharpshooting Rifleman with the legendary Baker rifle from Sharpe (tv/book-) series to British troops.
I enhanced clyde5269's 95thRifles-Glengarry Light Infantry -mod with new sounds (Richard Sharpe),
pictures and some stat adjustments.
All you need to do is to extract all files to your aoe3 folder. Made to work with AoE3:TAD only, but can be used with other version by manualling adding changes to strings-, proto- and techtree files, find files for "<!-- Rifleman START -->" -comment to see the required changes.
- Updated to Asian Dynasties
- Balance change: Better range and damage, but slower rate of fire
- "Veteran Rifleman" text to "95th Rifleman"
- "Guard Rifleman" text to "Rifleman of South Essex"
- "Imperial Rifleman" text to "Prince Wales' Rifleman"
- Added comments to files, so can easily added to other versions as well
Now how about some feedback? Is the cost, health, speed, damage, range and line of sight okay?

how the hell do u install the mod????????????????????? i know for star wars there's a mod intstaller but what about aoe3??

Just EXTRACT all files from zip-file into your "age of empires 3"-folder.
You might want to consider backup some files, before overwriting them.

Baker rifles reload slower and have longer range than what is currently in the mod. Trained rifleman from the 95th were known to have been accurate at 600-800 meters.

I know, but I think they still have the longest firing range of all infantry (in AOE3). Actually all units in the game fire too rapid. The proper firing rate would be 2-3 shots per minute, right?
I'm thinking about chaning Rifleman so they would act more as a elite snipers. More range and damage, yet slow fire rate. And maybe even giving ability to stealth, as they actually were only British unit in real world at that time wearing green (camouflage) uniform...
Any comment on voiceset?

muskets could fire up to 4-5 shots a minute
so the baker rifles would be 3 maybe 4

Well, it didnt work for my i extracted to A03 folder and it overwrit all my other units, there still there, but i wanted to make modifacation to a unit thingy, but there not there, and can you be more specific where to extract the files to?
