I use the villager swarm, and rather than go for all 20 houses asap, i take a lot of villagers off wood in order to balance my economy sooner. His deck suggested rush (it was called "rush" and had no 700 gold card) so I expected to be attacked fairly early, but it didnt come. He went for ATP and so i began going for them and soon had full map control. I had no problems with double rax longbows, and was happy to continue spamming as he made no hussars. He got to fortress and upgraded his xbows and muskets and I continued pushing but was forced back through a combination of CM and TC + tower fire. I tried to keep harassing until I could get to fortress. The game is as good as over by this point but it took me a while to take out his turtle.
I believe this shows the power of Hope's villager swarm example.
(Insert Rating analysis here)Both players did a great job imo.The only thing keeping this from 5 star is the battles they were not quite high caliber with the micro, number's and appropriate reinforcements.
Additional Comments:The British economy strategy was excellent the port almost as good but he stopped making vills before he matched the british economy.just before.
The british game was exellent as far as I could tell the Port relied on his militia to much and did not make counter units Or really any units except X-bow till to late that is what lost him the game imo.
Moderate to good battles all thrue out this was a great game!
