As Running Elk command a small band of freedom fighters against insurmountable odds. A treaty between the pail face and the Sioux has been established after a bloody battle, yet is not sitting well with chiefs and warrior. Navigate the changing terrain of avalanche country and destroy any settlers and hired hands you may find.

There are some tricks to this map, even yet once learned is pretty tough. Feel free to post your tactics here.

There are some modifications to units during game play. As the counter reaches ten (units) killed, they, the "Settlers" will start to gain hp and speed at each notification. Your "Dog Soldiers" form the "Lakota" trade post are your best units and should be exploited for maximum effect. Enjoy.

I liked this scenario a lot...challenging enough that the playability factor is good...I didn't get it the first two times. But it brought me back to play again...which is a compelling arguement for a fun scenario...short as it may be

Balance: 4
Here again...the balance is really good...Not too tough to win, but also not easy to win first try. The outlaws sometimes do some interesting attacks, not always going for units right next to them or riding by...if you can keep your units from attacking them you can go for the wagons instead and not many of them will stop to defend...

Creativity: 5
Super creative...there may be other scenarios like this but I haven't played them...so the game play to me was really new. It reminded me a bit of the campaign with the Russians where they take different paths and you need to stop them but altering completely the type of map and the method to stop the flow of wagons was cool...

Map Design: 4
Interesting layout...first play I didn't notice the stable in yellows camp...but once I found it it helped a lot. There was plenty of eye candy. I did wonder why the group at the top left of Blue could attack my units but I couldn't attack theirs...

Story/Instructions: 4
On page instructions were clear and the in game instructions were clear as well...

I really enjoyed this one...quick and deadly...fun to play...totally worth the dl...
