Actual combat was ok...the AI was aggressive enough but the map design presented many challenges.
The balance vs the AI was ok...but again the map had numerous issues...
Creativity was basic...not overly creative but not completely horrible. The map was the real problem.

There is a lot to talk about here. The basics: No eye candy and no elevation changes. The water was bizarre with tons of un-gettable treasures out in the water. Also there is very limited building room for the human player while the AI has tons of space. The basically single choke point of attack made it pretty easy to stop attacks with a couple of castles and limited troops.
As per usual...my pet peeve. Absolutely no story and no objectives.
