Winning the first battle is crucial because this is where all the gold is located. As Russia you must obtain base camp before the French do. If your going to face Mt. Snow this is a crucial first step in obtaining this goal. Do not Fail Mother Russia

Well it's playable enough but there are some fairly glaring issues that will be covered in the other sections.

Balance: 3
Early on the balance is fine, but as it goes along it's pretty obvious that either the AI didn't get as many resources or it's not aggressive enough. The AI never built much so after the initial attack it really only came on a couple of occasions and I was aged up well for defense...it was pretty easy to completely own the AI...

Creativity: 3
The creativity was basic...it would have helped to know what was really going on.

Map Design: 2
Hmmmm...though the terrain differences and such were ok...and there was a bit of eye candy...I wasn't clear as to what the purpose of the trade route was...it didn't do anything and couldn't be upgraded. Also there were a lot of buildings around that really had no purpose...you couldn't capture them so I'm not certain why they were there. Also I could clearly see the AI base from the start so it was super easy to take em out...

Story/Instructions: 2
As happens many times...there really wasn't any instructions besides don't lose the first battle. Creating a story behind a scenario should be a pretty easy part and can really bump up your overall score.

Additional Comments:
It could use some work...a few minor adjustments could really raise the score!
