I go for a semi-ff, dutch stays in colonial a bit. Snatch a couple vills with 4 camel card then meet the pikes which were certain to appear with 5 sepy shipment (21) Didnt need tah mahal yet :) Reach fort, send 2 mahouts, redcoats from shipment and consulate, and.. well.. attack :P Mahouts PWN! Even more so with howdahs. I discover a couple falcs, send 2 howdahs ahead of my army, and manage to snipe one before the enemy even reacts lol. I end up retreating, match sawen's falc spam with my howdah spam queung 5 howdahs. Then comes real use of Taj Mahal (sp) It saves my a ton of dmg until those 5 howdahs pop out, when it is clear the day is mine. Or was it...? :'( When i march my army triumphantly up to the gates of the enemy, my greatest fear becomes reality. Before i hadnt seen any real number of halbs to counter my elephants, so they were just gallantly stomping around crushing his poor skirms, but then... (i knew it had to come) the swisspikeman. That indirectly cost me 2 mahouts, and sent the other one trampeding off into the distance. -.- Ofc my monks, ever ready to help those in need, made it all better :D (or somewhat better) I eventualy get up 3 tcs, but even at 25:57 (when victory becomes mine) i only manged to scrape up 48 vills... oh well... my OP eles made up for it :D
If u dont care to read my mindless ego rant, then the next couple of sentences are for you :D Very close game. Demonstrates a couple things, including how to match the OPness of Dutch by the UPnes of India, the OPness of eles, and how NOT to manage ur eco. Good watch imo.
