Dark Forest is like the Dark Forest Map in AoK:
The players are in a big, dark forest, which is easy to defend.
There are one Iroquois or Cherokeetowns per player, but no Trade Routes.

Additional Comments:
At first I was really skeptical about playing
any map that had NO trade route. I have found
myself to be quite dependant on those resources
and experience points.
This map is large which I really like, and it
has plenty of resources. I just had to learn
to work for them and manage my cards better.
As a result, it makes for a great game. Need
to strategise more and play more honestly.
Awesome.

I tried it with the Dutch in a 2 vs 2 game. My gold mine was pretty far from my TC, however my ally had 2 gold mines directly next to his TC. Also the forests in Black Forest from AOE 2 were a defensive chokepoint, in this map the forests have holes here and there where enemies can walk right through. I would recommend making the forests more dense, and have more designated clearings for constructing buildings.
Balance: 3
Since I played the Dutch and had no gold mine anywhere near me, that makes the balance of the map a little off. Really struggled to get villager production online.
Creativity: 3
I love Black Forest and am glad someone is trying to make a RM script for it, but this map reminded me more of Sherwood Forest from AOE 2 making wall placement difficult.
Map Design: 4
Aside from the problems listed above I like the fact that there is no trade route, DO NOT change that because it gives the map the right feel. I love the lighting as well, really makes you feel like you are under a canopy where the sun doesn't shine.
Detail/Accuracy: 4
The lighting I mentioned above is a good detail that you added. I only don't give it a 5 in this category because I don't feel it is a fully accurate replica of Black Forest due to the trees.
Additional Comments: This could be 1 of the best Map Scripts for download if you made a v3.0 keep at it!
