Playability: 4
The map was a bit big so it was hard to control all your guys. Especially for the people in the middle of the map.

Balance: 4
It was overall pretty balanced but some seemed stronger than others sometimes.

Creativity: 4
The map was original and had the treaty system which was very unique.

Map Design: 5
The map was very well done and it was very in-like with the story-line. It had some nice props too.

Story/Instructions: 5
The instructions were pretty clear that you ahd to kill the other players. It also had a story with it.

Additional Comments:Was a fun map. The only problem was being in the middle because you have so much to control and are easier to attack.

My review on Kevthegreat Arab Desert 4

MrMario

Playability: 4

One thing I think it’s a bug is that you cant age up and there is blockade and spies. I would try to get blockade and spies out. But other than that this is a great game to play over and over again.

Balance: 5

Everything was balance but the flag men bottom: Didn’t really under stand the hole part of it

Creativity: 5

Great job on coming up with it, Gave a good feeling that people can come up with some great ideas and then make them.

Map Design: 5

Liked how big the map was not to small not to close, it was just right, good size

Story/Instructions: 3

Was a bit hard to follow the instructions that were give: But everyone one’s different on how they understand, could of just been me!!! ;)

Additional Comments:

Would love to see something with treasure
(ex. Pick up 20 treasure you get something or something happens)

The game is very playable, but apparently the gameplay is from Ensemble Studios, simple supremacy, so I give you a neutral score.

Balance: 2
Balance is not all that great, many sides have an entire different system and starting men and defenses, no balance at all.

Creativity: 3
It is supremacy, but I find it creative to have all those sides so close to each other, and diplomacy was nice too.

Map Design: 4
The design is not that bad, I in fact like it so I give you a 4.

Story/Instructions: 4
The story was confusing, havign all of those civ so close, but instructions for each player were given so I guess I give you a 4 too.

Additional Comments:
Game was supremacy with a little twist.

This map, like all the other Arab Desert maps is very playable, but it can be confusing to some. When i played it, a lot of the other players complained about how hard it was to make peace and war with people. The game that I played also took way too long to end, but I'm not sure how that could really be fixed.

Balance: 2

The balance is decent, but some civs really have some distinct advantages. The British for example seemed very strong with those 2 fixed guns, while the french didn't seem as good. Also, the main civ should be a little stronger in my opinion.

Creativity: 4

The creativity was definitely the best part, as this was the first Arab Desert map I've played. It's different from ANY other scenario and the storyline is actually interesting. The fact that each player has their own strengths and weaknesses was also a good idea. The most creative part was the ability to declare war and peace, which I haven't seen in any other scenario. That being said, it is still hard for many people to figure out how to use the peace/war flag bearers properly. I think this is something that you could change easily.

Map Design: 3

The Map design is good as well. Each civ is spread out across the map, with India being in the middle. Also, the fixed guns of the British were a cool addition, along with the French navy :P.

Story/Instructions: 3

The story is very good and interesting, but the instructions for the flag bearers at the bottom (peace/war) could have been explained a little better. I say this because a lot of people were confused when I played.

Additional Comments:

Overall, a solid map. It is different from many other scenarios out there, but if the games could be a little shorter, i think it would become a much better scenario.

Playability is so so because balance issues (see balance). Other than that it is a simple skirmish…. That’s it.

Balance: 2
Balance is not so good….p1 has more starting units and better map control for being at the center.
There are other balance issues.

Creativity: 3
This is a skirmish scenario with some initial setup and you don’t have much else….

Map Design: 3
Map design is very simple….. the map looks like a random map with no eye candy.
You just placed many buildings around put some wall and that’s it.

Story/Instructions: 3
Cinematic with story was nice but instructions went by too fast. It wasn’t very clear what to do.

Additional Comments:

Maybe no one should be in the center – bad for balance.
All your scenarios have the same map set up… better do something different for a change…..

Everything wented well, no laggness, no unfairness, except for the Bediouns they start all scatered and far too vunerable.

Balance: 4
Like I mentioned before, everything is good , except for the bediouns they are good at spamming under but they're units are just too weak to stand against the guns of the west and east. Also (but this is ESO fault) the ottomans can't handle the cuirrasier spamming later.

Creativity: 5
Well it's just a great idea with a whole plotline I wouldn't have thought about

Map Design: 3
just looking at it give's the idea a fight in the barren desert, only because of that there is not a single tree almost. Truly living from a market isn't fun!!!!

Story/Instructions: 5
The story is historicly accurate, and the instructions too. You also did a good job on explaining your (far too fancy) flags of war.

Additional Comments: On some area's a great game, only the ottomans and those bediouns are really a torn in my eye. (give ottomans a better counter vs cav, for al means ESO india just has janniesary's only then black and they got a 3 counter, does this mean white men can't handle a sword?) The janniesary's where Christians full with the urge for a Jihad (they were made muslim) and they could handle the sword quitte well. (better as some Indian.)
