This is the Final Version of CTF_x called: 'Secure The Flag!'
* 4 Human Players are recommended to play this game. It is possible to go with fewer however by putting a comp in the missing person's slot. The AI Will not fight.
* The Game is meant to be played FFA Mode in the Discovery Age. When the game begins, an animation will ensue and display a quick overview of the rules for the game. And end on the 'The Mountain' where the fighting will commence.
* Every Player will need to Convert the Flag Bearer That starts out in the middle of the map known as 'The Pit'.
* If you have the Flag, Be sure to start walking it your base. You will win the game if it reaches the middle of the six flags in your base.
* Be sure to attack the person who has The Flag. Because if it gets too far into their base, it could be too late for you to win.
* In 'Secure The Flag' there is a trickle of resources that supply your needs for fighting. Although it is substantial, It may not be enough to supply prolonged periods of fighting or carelessness, So be careful! There are also 4 Natives on the map.

(Insert Playability analysis here)
Very playable, for all skill levels. It is very easy to understand the rules and the objectives and there are no tricks or secrets to this scenario. Just play well and have fun :P.
(Insert Balance analysis here)
This, in my opinion is the greatest facet of this scenario. It is the most balanced scenarios I've seen in a while. No civ seems to be too strong, none too weak. All of them have their ups and downs.
(Insert Creativity analysis here)
The creativity was also very nice, on account of the fact that i had never seen a capture the flag game before this one. Also, the pit in the middle along with all the animations along with the intro at the beginning that shows all the camera angles make the creativity factor soar above many others.
Map Design: 5
(Insert Map Design analysis here)
The Pit is my favorite design because it is something new that i have never seen anyone else put in their scenario. Also, the bases are set up so perfectly that nobody will get cheaply raided; instead all players must fight for the common objective: to get the flag and bring it back to their base.
(Insert Story/Instructions analysis here)
Moshe's help with the intro here really changed this rating to a 5, and the directions are very straightforward. It tells you who has the flag and also flares the map to prevent one person from having the flag and being unopposed. The fact that most people know what capture the flag is and that it is very common in other games, for example Perfect Dark Zero for the 360, makes me glad that someone actually made this as a scenario. Nice Work, Chester1.
WOW, this was probably the Greatest Scenario I have played in a long time.
This is very unique from all the other scenarios out there. Most of the other ones I've played have some major flaws like units aren't balanced and they have some bugs and all that bad stuff.
This is a lot of fun, every civ is good in their own way, and its a true strategic game, unlike other games where u dont even have to make units or where one unit just dominates everything else(Colleseum cough, cough). Also, this game doesn't change and get boring at the end unlike Colleseum for example, where the final level usually ends up as a stalemate.
STF DOMINATES, EVeryone should try it out, its a really fun game :P.
And the Pit in the Middle is so cool, gj Chester1,its a very creative and balanced game, and everyone of all different skill lvls can play it. MagNifiCo!

This scenario is fun to play a few times, but after a while its not that fun anymore.
Games take too long and we just have to spam units all the time.
There should be more things to do with more strategy.
You need to make players to work for their resources and not give them almost unlimitted resources just like that.
Balance is ok but you don’t have decks so civs that have deck bonuses like germany with free hulans lose their bonus.
Adding decks is going to help make the balance better.
Ctf is a known game type and there are no special features here so this is average scenario imo.
We just need to capture the flag and that’s it….no extra stuff to do.
Map Design: 3
Map design is so so because the map is flat with no hills and no eye candy.
You have the pit in the middle but the rest is just plain.
Instructions are fine explaining what to do but there is no story so I cant give you 5.
Nice scenario overhaul but you need to add more features and improve the map design.
Maybe you can add villagers and not give so many resources so players can attack villagers too.
The flag bearer its too slow...
And its practically impossible to win a single game...
And someone can easily delete the flag bearer while he controls it if someone else is in point of taking in it, and then the game cant finish until everyone resigns...
At least make something of re-spawn...
Not really balanced...
IMO, some civs got more units than other....
And natives and asians are at a big disadventage since russians, natives, and chinese dont start with barracks, meaning that they cant build units in em.
However I decided to still give you a 3 because people would just use the civs with most units...
Not really that creative...
I have already seen some maps like this before...
And the idea is very basic:
Men fighting in middle to get a bonus..., just that unlike in other scenarios, you train em and they dont appear...
Map Design: 3
The design isnt that good...
The triggers take a time until they appear and you could ahve added much stuff, like stronger buildings, villager building time slowed, and instead of telling others to dont attack other players, you could have just added more triggers...
I guess the design its average.
The instructions arent really that good,t hey are too simple, however, objectives buton and instructions by HC names are the reason of me to give a 4 here...
Your map can have many additions to make it better, but I will just tell you the most important:
INCREASE THE FLAG BEARER SPEED!

My review on Chester’s Secure the flag
Love the pics that you put on it. Wish I can give you some points for that
Outstanding loved everything: There’s was nothing to complain about
Balance what outstanding, Didn’t have anything wrong, You seemed to work out the bugs that might out been there and looked like you planed this out 100%
Was Easy to come out with and didnt look like you really knew what you wanted to make
Map Design: 5
Loved how the fire, and the smoke
Was easy to follow and was easy to under stand and got to the point on what to do
Just one thing make the flag man just a little faster and it should be good to go.
Very playable, you retrieve flag and make men to protect it, that simple, but fun.
Any one can attack anyone to "spoil the fun" as you call it, so I can't give a good score on this.
Get back to base isn't new, but the pit in the middle plus attacking anyone you want is something, so it adds to creativity as it consumes balance.
Map Design: 4
Pit is nice, a circular map and a few military buildings.
Make men retrieve flag, clear as crystal.
Map was kinda fun I guess.
I found the game to be very playable, but it quickly gets monotonous. Although I had fun when I was playing it, it wasn't the kind of game I would want to play over and over again. I think that it would've been better if the flag moved faster, and the entire game didn't go as slow.
The game was as balanced as it needed to be. I didn't see any of the civs playing with a definate advantage over any other, but it could still use some improvement. I could see some things (like the lack of cards) harming civs like Germans.
Capture the flag maps have been done plenty of times before. It would've been nice if you had added something to make it unique, like bonuses for more kills and such.
Map Design: 3
The map design got the job done, and had nothing special to it.
A story isn't required for a game such as this, and the intro cinimatic and home cities perfectally described what I needed to do.
With a few improvements the game would be much better than it is right now, but it was a fun game anyways. Thanks for making it!
