Well you can alway's play this without worrying to much about lagg, but I had trouble with the day and night cyclus when it is night you just don't see a thing although this can be positive because natives like the Aztec empire could make a very good and suprising ambush it was in the way for me. Also changed because your newer version made it far less dark, so again you were right........

Balance: 5
All civ's are balanced although I will always dislike the fact that ottoman jannysarie's don't train fast and have a 'normal' counter against cavalry, but what I did dislike was the fact spy's (technology) were free! As I mentioned before the aztecs need alot of their power's to take a civ down with spy's for free you don't have to fear for anymore suprise's immediatly as you reached age 5 for the rest I would also like to note the French start pretty vunerable in the woods with Aztec skull and that close. Ok you tested that so a 5 then because you proved me wrong......... Now I wont judge you on spy's because it is that minor, Dont feel to optimistic because I will keep playing this game and point the mistake's out every time!!!

Creativity: 5
Very creative the map was nicely made, everyone was in a fortress or had a large base. And which I really liked to every civ had it's own bonus like some dojo's for Japan, Ottoman's had 4 factory's, Spain (which has even some history) had to gain their mother country's support and those miniquest were a real adiction.

Map Design: 5
As I've said before the nature was nice in every perspective, it could still use some deer's or such. But I also like the fortifyed base start the map could however be bigger in my opinion but it is to late for that now isn't it? I truly like the way you made the Spanish base you should make more map's like that.

Story/Instructions: 4
Well the story was pretty short explained, and it could be far better I mean come'on make spain and the Aztecs have a different objective against eachother do you honestly believe they would live in peace? They're were additional instruction's on the flag's of war and when you started. Alas the story was just not very entusiastic. You could drag more history or make a new aproach on this matter.

Additional Comments:A very great game but it could take some serious time, also teaming on one person could accur freely without a punishment it should be punished unless the person their teaming is so strong that they just had to team. But for the rest I could only say truly nicely made and play it people. :) Changed my revieuw because you showed me the newer version and oh well you just beated me in that it was right so bravo, but the story is still rather dull. :P

it allows you to chose if you want to fight one team or a different team. It is not much work to build an economy since when you begin you already have the supplies needed

Balance: 5
Each team all has a chance for victory no team is better than another. It all depends on how you use your allies

Creativity: 5
Diplomacy is a new feauture to me i would like to know how to use it for any scenarios i might make. That sort of objective part seemed better than what I have seen in colloseum you get rewards for getting kills but that has nothing to do with any choices you make it is the men that do all the work in this game it gives you objectives that are both easy and fun and you do recieve rewards for them.

Map Design: 3
The map was pretty confusing at some points
around the aztecs i found myself confuse at where it had started and stopped i had sent an army to attenpt to destroy them and it turned out i was walking around emy buddy's base. otherwise i think it looked coll i like how he made the spanish gold cave it looked pretty good. the aztecs base also looked realistic like one that would be in a book.

Story/Instructions: 5
I thought the story was very interesting it puts you on ground that has never been discovered yet and the best part is that you r the one that chooses what will happen. You form the alliances, you build the armies, you attack, and you conquer. It allows you to write the history anyway you like. At firs I had no idea how to work on diplomacy but after i had finally read the tutorial i fully understood it and it was actually a simple idea

Additional Comments:
Overall i would give this game a 5. It is one of the best scenario's i have ever done and I look forward to trying out hi other work

"the French start pretty vunerable in the woods with Aztec skull and jaguar knight's that close"

I have tested that if the aztecs rush the French, they would lose due to General Francies, and what jags are u talking about?

"Map Design: 3"

Umm u gave me a 5 on it for the score, hopefully u meant to give a 5 on the comment part?

Thx for your reviews

Mobile Oh yea, Chester's right, some of those miniquests were really confusing. A lot of people left the game cuz they couldn't figure out what to do. Maybe if you highlight the places ppl need to go to accomplish their miniquest or give better directions, it would work.
File Author
u didn;t hafta finish them, they were just miniquest, as in opitional
acornhead I agree going to rereview and try to be less "baised" and "unfair" although i believe i wan't. I will raise my scores on the ones taht i didn't like and lower the ones tha i did like, and make them longer, hopefully you will not rmove them this time and leave them :)

Playability: 5
It was a fun map to play, based on the others ppl thoughts on wat they were gonna do. I am more of a peacefull nation, and kinda a merc in game :) The map laggs minor in the beginning of the game, however all of the positives more than makes up for this. Some positives are the miniquests, which i believe were clear and creative for almost all of them.

Balance: 5
the civs were all balanced, each with there own advantages and dissadvantages. Otto- 4 factories, but in the middle and cannot build another capital. France- no set buildings, but gains reinforcements and alot of resources near them. Spain- their own cave :) but they send gold back to the queen for mercs :) Aztecs- huge land both good and bad. Japan- super samurais and natives around them :)

Creativity: 5
No other map is like this, other than your own :) flags, night-day cycle, rain events, etc. I mainly enjoyed the miniquests that u made for each civ :). Your maps are always creative. I do not know what to call this kind of map, its not rpg, colluseum type, or sup. Its just plain awesome :)

Map Design: 5
Over 500 trigger, a night and day cyle, rain, and other minor stuff. i belive this is your best map ever. The map also looked nice, trees all over, gold mines, animals, and water filled with fish. Every civ had resources close enough for them. All i recomend adding are more uneven terrain and some treasures.

Story/Instructions: 4
I loved your story on the arab desert series the most but this story was ok. The instructions were much better here than in the Arab. I docked a point here mainly because this was the worst part of the game, the instructions could have been a bit clearer, and the storyline could have been more involved as Will said. However i believe that you should not put in miniquests that directs all onto on player, as that would be unfair, so your miniquests are fine as it is, just put in more of them. Also, perhaps make the opening cinematic opitional.

Additional Comments:
I believe this was your bestmap, i've also played your new map "The Race" i believe that the white spots should have a lower speed down, other than that it was fun. :) Hopefully this review is a much better one and will not be removed

wow... i think u caught the as_saffah virus lol. That is a long review.. i don;t think that they are gonna remove that :) Thx for rating
Dopplesaurus Very fun map to play, but I've noticed that the French can keep on getting reinforcements even when over their population limit. Once I had like 600 population including tons of mercenaries. Needless to say, when I attacked it lagged a lot though I know that isn't your fault :) Also, some of the objectives are a bit vague like the French one (never got it to finish) and the Ottoman one (train 25 imams?)

Overall though, very good scenario

600 pop? um i don't know how u got 600 pop....

french missions were recon and conquer, reocn the heroes and a specific building of theirs, for

Otto- ishna, ashar, and Ottoman Capital

Spain- robert, alfonso, and the mining camp

Aztec- Skull Temple, jaguar leader, and their warchief

all you need is to have a spy near them at one point in time. for example u can have a spy at ishna, ashar, and robert therefore you will not finish a mission, if you have on at ishna, ashar, and the capital u completed recon and get a conquer mission

yes train 25 imams to please allah, whats so hard about that?
