GLOBAL WARS:




This scenario is based on the Arab Desert Series by me, KevTheGreat. Many people had wanted an Arab Desert 8, but i decided to try something new, and made this, includes many, many features new, old, and perfected.



The Storyline of ths game doesn't make much sense, but i still decided to put it in. Five Empires have risen to face the test of time, they compete in a world tournament. Who will win, who will conquer? You control your diplomacy, so be prepare to experiance cold wars, World Wars, and others...

-fixed minor trigger bugs
-added houses
-removed 2 wonders from japan
-added the victory trigger
-other minor things

1.20
french reinforcements come faster
-if france revolts they lose reinforcements from the homeland and gain a one reinforcement army (from the people uniting, not the homeland)
-heroes that die are removed form the game unlike explorers
-heroes now have trigger attacks when injured and/or death
-aztec hostages are now not invincible and have no attack (converted to igc) therefore making it harder to do mission
-aztec hostage mission rewards have been increased greatly
-fixed minor bugs

1.21
-misspellings have been fixed
-the loss trigger for france has been added (I don't know y it was missing)
-hostages are no longer IGC units
-minor faulty triggers have been fixed

1.30
-increased amount of lighting changes, not just 2 settings that change every 15 minutes anymore, now there are 10 lightings that change every 200 seconds
-rain occurs more often and are shorter
-spanish houses have been fixed to match their culture

1.40
-Gates can now be closed to allied players or opened (your choice) this will prevent entering your city and declaring war on you. However this only applies to preset gates.
-Fixed flagsno longer getting "lost"
-New music including a custom music file in the download (if you are wondering what the song is trying to say, it basically means religion causes wars)
-Intro cinematic is now optional
-You can now move around during tutorial cinematic if you didn't want to watch it and some other people did

i re-updated the file again srry for the inconvenience. I had a misspelling the music filename and typed in 6 instead of 160 for a timer

Its extreamly easy to play. Just team up. Stay allies as long as you can with people. Macro alot at the begginng and get max settlers. Send the factory cards and upgrade your military. Micro well and you'll do fine.

The game is very balenced. Putting the Ottos in the middle of the map with super strong walls was very good. You put the strongest one in the middle. The French with OP units start without a premade base so it gave others a chance to cetch up. The japanese arnt as OP as i expected. The spanish has alot of mercenarys and can pack a powerful punch. The aztecs start out with alot of land.

It is very creative incorperating 5 civs. that have never met in the past in battle at the same time. Also the trigger you did so you could switch enemeys and make allies is so cool. Its like AOE2 XP. I miss being able to do that.

I love the maps design. You put alot of work into it. I have asked you before how long it took for you to complete the senerio and you said 2 hours a day for 7 weeks. The civs. each have their own home looking terrain backgrouds. I find this map excellent!

You can easily understand the story and instructions. I have read them and seen the story many times cause i play the senerio alot. Spanish are suppost to collect gold. Ottos are suppost to build Iaims and petards. Aztecs are suppost to sacrifice the leaders of the other groups. The japanese have to build Yumi and kill 350 enemey soldiers as well as another objective. French are suppost to scout and conquer them all.

i really love this map its amazing. Also i love how the day can change like the lighting when you are playing the game it feels so real i think this is a great map and keep up the great work :)

yes, please include more detail in order for it to stay :P

btw i just updated the map, for some reason the music won't play i tried fixing the trigger and couldn't so i just deleted it and made a new one and it worked

mark10867 from being the second to review the scenario and haven't read this thing since, I have no clue how you people cannot get the instructions. You are either alien or have rocks in your head. Somewhere after my review pointedly about pastoolio and I some guy said we were just going "yea go Kev111!!11!" This isn't the case, if someone makes a damn good scenario, we are gonna rate it as a damn good scenario. Glad to see it's still popular today. Also check out his newer scenarios.
