Playability: 4
Very playable scenario. I was wondering if I should give this a 4 or a 5. The climatic wasn’t too good, long and tedious. Rather boring to watch in fact. It gave just a brief over view of what each civilization should do. A little battle or fighting would be nice.
Balance: 5
Extremely Balanced. No further comments needed. It was easy to play with each civilization.
Creativity: 5
Very nice, diplomacy was fun and enjoyable.
Map Design: 5
Perfect! No bugs, easy and fun to play. Pretty much everyone had equal in everything, and it wasn’t too hard for any one civilization.
Story/Instructions: 3
I gave this a three because the first two times I played, it was very hard to understand. The mini-objectives were fun, but at the same time very confusing. I had no idea what to do and how to do it. The diplomacy was fun, but was two confusing at first and the climatic did not help much either. I really didn’t have the fainted idea how to use it. (I did eventually figure it out) There wasn’t much to a story either, just a little background of what was going on.
Additional Comments:
Good job, waiting for another scenario! I had lots of fun play this!

it seems that u can play the game, but cannot edit it in any way...
EDIT: I ahve fixed the game by finding an old global wars (from an online player) and readding the patches and other things to it. There fore i ahve now replaced the file with a new file that does not include the motada/stuart spawn glitch.

Playability: 4
(Well what ca I say the scenario is pretty well made and the gameplay, which I found enjoyable, was an innovating one. Diplomacy is what differs aoe from games like Civilization, with a smart diplomatic strategy, which, on other side, makes it the RTS game we like so much. ok, edition. First of all, it lags like hell with so many units on the mao which gets closely to 1000 and so many buildings and other stuff, and you need to have a veryvery strong comp to play without lags. I dont think that everyone can have allow himself a veryvery good comp. About 400 pop for french my bad didn't kno kev fixed it. ... It's still a 4/5)
Balance: 4
(Balance is very well factured, although there are few details I would have fixed, like the forest in te japanese land or the mass territory for the aztec. Edition: about the teritory,I mean that only aztec are given so much territory for some mysterious reason. Plus, the ottomans are at the center, so they statistically get atacked more often and are in more danger then all the other civ-s. 4/5)
Creativity: 5
(As I said, very creative idea of bringing diplomacy into the game.)
Map Design: 4
(About forests again, aztec territory, but overall the map looks good and it deserves it's 4/5 ... edition: I wanted to give it 4.5 for playability and 4.5 for this map design. Since I cant, I would Just give it 5/5 for game design, hope u are happy - 5/5)
Story/Instructions: 3
(as others said, after 2 times of playing I still coulndt ully understand the intructions, and the quests could have been better then "get 10000, 15000, 2000 :O" gold or get 50 priests. Edit: I should be happy? no kev, u should be happy, because if no add quests, it would get 2/5 from me for story/instructions. Some add quests are boring, what's so fun about getting tons of gold??? and the 1st ottoman quest is to build a mosque and train 30( or something) priests, what kind of quest is that? )
Additional Comments:
Well kev, I've found the forum although you hoped I would not bring my mark here. I know you will find it tough, but I stilll believe that my mark is fair unlike "5 5 5 5 5 GREAT JOB KEV WOO HOOOOOO!!!". Edition: None[Edited on 06/23/08 @ 08:53 PM]

first of all 400+ pop for france? wat r u talking about? even before the first updat there ma pop was 300, on the 1st update i made it back to normal
2nd: more land isn't always better, if u r big u got to protect more
3rd: i believe the instructions deserve much more than a 5 because the miniquests were opitinal(the only multi scenario with them), u should be happy that u even got miniquests that u could understand and 50 priests? wtf r u talking about[Edited on 06/23/08 @ 08:38 PM]

first if all it laggs in the beginning (everyone loads the game) then it pretty much does't algg any more
2nd: the ottos start with 4 factorie a positive, positive, and start in the middle negative, and cannot rebuild their capital negative, therefore it evens out.
3rd: the mosque and 25 imams are to please allah granting them rewards. wat kind of quest would u put in then? |
MingMing99 |
Posted on 06/23/08 @ 09:38 PM
1) 2 times I quit the game on like 3rd minutes because the game lagged too badly
2) 4 factories are not the huge pluses, if they get destroyed, that's it. They dont make that much of profit u know, better to have land for farms or plantations then destroyable factories
3) about quests, you could have made something like make few spies, disallow the spies tech in the capitolium, and make spies sneak into somewhere and kill some1 (like the leader of some civ) |

Interesting map, but placing the ottos in the middle of the map can be a disaster. Also some of the OP civs you've used are in a totaly advantage in this map (like Japanese). Japanese can wipe out ottos in a few minutes, by using artillery.
Choosing the diplomacy is quite a good idea, but it has to come from both sides, or is no alliance. Something what bothered me was the day night cycle. On night it was too dark to see something (i was played this in the day time).
Balance: 3
As i've said, some civs have advantage because of the civ's particularities. I hardly gave you a 3 points on this one instead of a 2.
Creativity: 4
Creative, but not excessively. I can't say "...wow, this map have an original idea".
Map Design: 4
Good map design, but not quite good thought about placing resources. On a war zone villies can't gather because they get killed faster then you think.
Story/Instructions: 2
I may be a little stupid, but i haven't understand exactly how to play. This is not a kind of scenario to be played on the first time. I guess a lot of people won't play this twice because they don't understand what to do.
Additional Comments: I found your cinematic a little messy. A good work anyway, but is not the best scenario you can create. You have more potential ...
