GLOBAL WARS:
This scenario is based on the Arab Desert Series by me, KevTheGreat. Many people had wanted an Arab Desert 8, but i decided to try something new, and made this, includes many, many features new, old, and perfected.
The Storyline of ths game doesn't make much sense, but i still decided to put it in. Five Empires have risen to face the test of time, they compete in a world tournament. Who will win, who will conquer? You control your diplomacy, so be prepare to experiance cold wars, World Wars, and others...

-fixed minor trigger bugs
-added houses
-removed 2 wonders from japan
-added the victory trigger
-other minor things

french reinforcements come faster
-if france revolts they lose reinforcements from the homeland and gain a one reinforcement army (from the people uniting, not the homeland)
-heroes that die are removed form the game unlike explorers
-heroes now have trigger attacks when injured and/or death
-aztec hostages are now not invincible and have no attack (converted to igc) therefore making it harder to do mission
-aztec hostage mission rewards have been increased greatly
-fixed minor bugs

-misspellings have been fixed
-the loss trigger for france has been added (I don't know y it was missing)
-hostages are no longer IGC units
-minor faulty triggers have been fixed
1.30
-increased amount of lighting changes, not just 2 settings that change every 15 minutes anymore, now there are 10 lightings that change every 200 seconds
-rain occurs more often and are shorter
-spanish houses have been fixed to match their culture
1.40
-Gates can now be closed to allied players or opened (your choice) this will prevent entering your city and declaring war on you. However this only applies to preset gates.
-Fixed flagsno longer getting "lost"
-New music including a custom music file in the download (if you are wondering what the song is trying to say, it basically means religion causes wars)
-Intro cinematic is now optional
-You can now move around during tutorial cinematic if you didn't want to watch it and some other people did |

I'll Tell you again... DON'T ADVERTISE YOUR MAPS IN YOUR DOWNLOAD!!! IT MAKES ME MAD!! NOW MY RANK WILL BE LOWER... What is with all my caps...

lol, y not put your other maps on the site, if they like the map they may like my others mainly since global wars ws based on the arab deser, btw "advertisment" is not a reason to give a bad grade. In fact u shoul boost creativity because of it :P lol jk. |

very fun
Balance: 4
like most of you'r games player #1 is in the middle and get killed first i know that well
Creativity: 5
something no bodys ever done before (i think it needs germany)
Map Design: 5
i love it detiled and many random things like cows
Story/Instructions: 3
not so great i did not understand what to do at first with ottomans

I like it alot because it is very easy play and to pick up as going on. I think ive played with each civ. so far in the Senerio.
Balance: 5

I think it was very balanced. At first i thought the OP Japanese would win every time but if found that a different civ. wins each time i've played

It is extremely creative where as all these civiliztions would never me in battle like that in history and to think that up is incredable.

I love the map. It looks like he spent many hours on it. It does accuately depicts each civ. in their proper back eviroment.

The instructions are fairly easy to understand.

It was a fun map to play, based on the others ppl thoughts on wat they were gonna do. I am more of a peacefull nation, and kinda a merc in game :)
Balance: 5
the civs were all balanced, each with there own advantages and dissadvantages. Otto- 4 factories, but in the middle and cannot build another capital. France- no set buildings, but gains reinforcements and alot of resources near them. Spain- their own cave :) but they send gold back to the queen for mercs :) Aztecs- huge land both good and bad. Japan- super samurais and natives around them :)
Creativity: 5
No other map is like this, other than your own :) flags, night-day cycle, rain events, etc.

Over 500 trigger, a night and day cyle, rain, and other minor stuff. i belive this is your bestmap ever.
Story/Instructions: 5
I loved your story on the arabdesert series the mpst but this story was ok. The instructions were much better here than in the Arab.

I believe this was your bestmap, i've also played your new map "The Race" i believe that the white spots should have a lower speed down, other than that it was fun. :)[Edited on 07/10/08 @ 04:20 PM]

thx for your review, and the diplomacy box is more complicated than earth becuase it is not a one time use, it was harder to make but i think it was worth it. I also believe that the creativity should be at least a 4 due to the rain, and night - day events, i also started the diplomacy :P. Other than that thx for the 11th review on global wars :)[Edited on 07/10/08 @ 01:27 PM]
