Playability: 4
Camera angles and smoothness was nice however the main probelm hear was that the talking scenes were way to long, i had time to read it 7 times before another guy started to talk
Balance: 5
Nothing to comment
Creativity: 5
Never seen anything like this, interesting storyline but it didn''t make much sense
Map Design: 5
Excellent use of animations and eye candy, i can't believe that this is your first time lol.
Story/Instructions: 2
This was the poorest part of hear, i couldn't understand the story. Why did the monks let in a battle hardened warrior, why didn't they try and make him stay, why did the villigers accept him in so fast, why did the buildings crumble and blow up, and i thought he didn't die, i saw him ruun away if i am not mistaken.
Additional Comments:
Excellent cinematic with storyline flaws. I can't believe that this is your first time lol Well Done[Edited on 08/22/08 @ 07:30 PM]

Hey,
Thanks man. I really like your work.
Storyline: I didn't really know where I was going with this thing, it was just an impulse. Basically the idea was that Daimyo Dekimasu had his lands destroyed, was forced to flee, lived with a group of monks and was taken in for several years, then returned and joined an army to overthrow Daimyo Warui.
I guess I could have fixed this up a lot better by putting some more storyline in (especially the time spent in the monastery and his journey to Warui).
I think the most that my Dialog stayed on screen were for 10 seconds. What do you recommend? I like to make sure they can read it.
Yes, Dekimasu DOES run...but as you could probably understand, he is in the top room and the chances of escaping are slim to none. He is killed. I only put the run in because it seemed stupid that he sat there motionless.
Thanks for your great kudos, I'm already working on a Pirate themed RPG that I hope will be DLed. Yay, I'm on the second page of the Top-Rated list!
Thanks,

-perhaps spend more time on this map, it would give this at least a 4.6 and make it much more interesting(i have not seen a map yet that deserves a 4.8 or above from me :P i am kinda a hard grader)

10 sec is much more than enough lol, i usually use 6 sec max if it's real long and important, i recomend making most of them 5 second max since lmost all of them were short

-looking forward to it

-lol
Btw srry for the many misspells and grammer problems in the review i was kinda in a rush, anyways the main thing you need to do is spend more time on it and make it longer

Hey, Dutch,
I really don't understand. It's a Cinematic. It's not a campaign, either. Cinematic Scenarios are for entertainment and humour. I'm sorry if I disappointed you but I really don't know what you were expecting here.
Thanks,
