Napoleon Wars Beta 0.1

Author File Description

File Details
Game Version: AoE3
Open the ReadMe for installation instructions and contact info.

This is about Napoleon being a group commander (not army yet). He must take down all the British forts with the help of the French army. Read the objectives for more info.

Plz rate this and give me feedback. Should I continue making scenarios?

Teutonic Twit First time I played the ally took out the forts and then their boats destroyed all the enemy's boats. I won without doing a thing.

The second time I played, by the time my little group got to the 1st fort (top of map), the ally had taken out two forts and were working on the 3rd. Once the last fort came down, the ally ships appeared and started taking out the enemy ships. By the time my cannons got there I was able to help destroy the last ship.

There is no real game playing here...you can treat it as a cinema, just watch. You map was ok, but you give the ally too big a force. Cut back on their force size, give the human player a little more force and let the human player control the ships.

Your scenario idea was ok, but there really isn't anything for the human player to do. If I were to review/rate this scenario, it wouldn't break 1.

Try it again, as it appears you the can work with the designer well. Just involve the player more, a lot more.

Hope this helps you...

Yes, after all it is my first map. I am sorry for not involving the Human Player a lot more. I won't be able to write any more scenarios (if I would I would write hard ones) because my 2nd disc broke and I don't see a reason to keep the game when my disc is broken. If you have any knowledge on how to reinstall the game without the second disk please share it, but for now I am screwed. My next scenario (Napoleon Beta 0.2) if I ever fix my problem will have lots of not and true statements along with short scenes where the computers fight. You will do most of the work though.
DUTCH BUDDHA hi and nice for trying out to make a campaine lets work to getter if u wandt i wandt to make a campaine as wel

Like I said I will probably make a few more scenarios but I LOST MY SECOND DISK. Yes if you want to work together check out my website which is on the readme, and reply to me there. Does anyone have a solution to this problem. I was thinking maybe copy all the existing Age of Empires 3 files on a CD and just copy and paste. Hmm.
Teutonic Twit Which version of AOE3 are you talking?
I think (could be wrong) once you install onto a computer you only need disc 1 to engage the game system.

Hope you can work it out, like to see what you can put together down the road. You show promise.

Thank you! My next scenario is coming out pretty soon. I'm going to try to make it quite hard. I'm still interested in Napoleon though :(.

Anyway, yes I can still play the game it's just that reinstalling may be a problem. This is just the original Age of Empires 3.

(I'm planning to get the expansion TWC and TAD this Christmas but if I am forced to buy the gold edition, I must.)

I was thinking maybe copy all the existing Data files of Age of Empires 3 on a CD and then just copy and paste.

New level coming out soon.

Yeah I'm probably going to get it this Christmas. Is it possible to uninstall the current Age of Empires 3 with the same CD code to another system. What I'm saying is: Is it possible to use the same CD code for two installations (first I uninstall it off this computer and put it on another computer.) (New Game only, ask me if you don't understand?)

Edit: Sorry forgot to mention. I didn't exactly break my CD. Someone else did and I won't say who. I love keeping my CDs in a nice neat pile with no scratches. Tidy.

Teutonic Twit Yes, you can install on another computer with same code (I've got it on my desk PC and my laptop). You need to have all discs to install and you must have the disc in the computer you are playing on. Using a copy????, thought they might be code protected...

Do you have Rise of Nations? I could make scenarios for Rise of Nations.

Good, so I might after all buy gold edition and the TAD.
