The game starts off relatively simple, with me managing to age earlier than 7:00 and get some (theoretically) effective raids in. My explorer first sees a turtle, but, judging from socrstar's turtling guide and what he tells me when I see his house placement, this is more out of habit. My quick scan of his deck shows me an FF or Manor Boom, so I continue.
I manage a number of good raids, and socrstar has difficulty fighting them without an army and a base too compressed to put any mills inside. Once he does put mills up, I am able to launch raids anyway.
My explorer does not see any gold shipment, although I do see a Fort going up. I siege it for a moment, but feel that it would be too mean to actually take it down, so I abort. It goes down anyway afterwards.
We hit Industrial fairly early, but I still see no attack. This works mostly to my benefit, as it gives me some time to build up my force and take out the Factories. However, my plans are thwarted by Rockets, and my initial wave is repelled even with Guard Jans fighting.
Still, my second wave does not see any Rockets, and I am able to launch a powerful 30 Jan 3 Bombard attack. His small Musketeer army is quickly crushed and the fort goes down.
