The Broken Empire plays in the Eastern of the world. It is compareable with zeldda and belongs to the RPGs. This map also includes some pretty nice features
- ride a horse (without p3)
- voices if u select some units (if you look on unit stats)
- 3 unique songs
- teleport system
- fictional story
- step by step instructions and a story where not everything is told in one time (will also get a voice in near future)
- secondary objectives (in demo this are less)
- life system (you cannot buy lifes in this scenario but you can sell them for a great bonus).You start with: 3 lifes
- overall nice map design with much animatios
- endless amount of levels since this base on a QV system
- others:e.g. your horse needs fodder

At the moment it is unbalanced and not all functions listen in the forum are included
btw i search some people who are willing to help. If you dont understand much from scenario designing you even could help at testing and with records (e.g. my voice for female people sounds really really bad)
Problems with bugs and instructions, (oos reports (if it everytime repeat)), reviews and comments are wished
You cannot play the whole map in the demo, just a small area (1/3 of the whole map)

I have only made changes to the text dialog in-game. I haven't made any changes to any audio files or unit voices. |

sry if I express it false. I meant just that u rewrite texts for (Send Chat) which is coupled with Sound Filename. So I ve to record new audio files in case that he e.g. says "Surprise Surpirse Ninja Attack" but u get a text output like "the black people joint our army" or how you`d express it. So I ve to redo the Audio files. At least you did a really good job with improving my english through 20 folders |

I just downloaded this to see how good you are and it is amazing! I usually don't like these kinds of scenarios but it's fun nonetheless! Also the town is so beautyful! O__O"

Ok, I played it now... didn't manage to beat it but it was fun for a surprisingly long time (as I said I usually don't like AoE3 RPGs).
Here's what I've written down while I was playing (I guess you know of most of the bugs I've seen, but I'll still post it):
-The dialogues, story and both optional quests were very good. It was funny that I stayed one year at the inn but only had 5 gold. :D
-One of the reasons I don't like AoE3 RPGs is because there aren't many tactical possibilities. However in your scenario the hero caused area damage so it was more tactical than others I've seen. :)
-When I met the Nonahkee gal in town, I was asked if I want to watch the cinematics. Then the camera showed a yes/no UI. However I didn't know what was yes and what was no. So I accidently clicked on "no". The second time I played I waited and didn't click, and "no" was selected again. :( Why didn't you just use a "choice dialog" effect?
-There was a bug with the portrait of the "old general" when you enter town for the first time: His arms are transparent.
-I bought surgeons by mistake three times because I accidently walked near the shop. xD
-When I died the message "Poor Nellie she done died" looped infinitely.
-I don't know if hidden objectives in a multiplayer scenario is really a good idea because players who are playing for the second time have an advantage.
-There was a shrine in town that belonged to gaia, so I could attack and destroy it.
-Some of the enemies were sentinels (asian milita) with only 1 of x HP. I think it's a good idea to add enemies with only 1 HP (= more tactical) but it looks a bit like a bug if they have 1 of x HP... But this is only a small, minor, tiny problem. ;)
-When I wanted to buy a horse, I thought I could choose which one I want (elephant, japanese hero etc.), but I could only get the same one. |

If you are riding a horse and got bonus units (falcon ashigarus mercs u will feel the tactic)

It isn't a bug. The people have a name Choose Yes, Choose NO. It doesnt even wonder myself that u have not enough time. The timer is just too short (if the ameratrack ends the choose ends too [like 8 scs])

But otherwise the game gets more interesting. Even if you replay it. There should be also objectives that u have to "buy" for low amount of gold. I think it makes more fun with these little thinks. And at least they are optinal so you haent to do them. Some give you food THAT U CANNOT BUY like in zelda2

-since your opponent is china they work like european minute mans. If you choose as Player 8 e.g. spain they hold there hp. I just thought ->start easy killing

-the hero is bound to his animal since it first is a safe of triggers and second if i would change it the balance would go down rapidly. Anyway this game is supposed to be played at mp. Look e.g. to the first boss he is too strong against one player (tactical you can solve it with tokugawa on horse)

So here are some news:
-This game will get a pw system means if you reach the 3th island you got a pw with that ýou everytime could continue at this place.
-wood is not anymore needed for displayng level since I created a cool effect that display the level at unit name. So you can gie me suggestion what i should use wood for.
- This scenario should also be single player able after i ve finished it (maybe it also use mers's mod later in the version).
-You can also mess around with the anti edit system to see how powerfull it is :) (allready installed). If sb. like it you find it in my trigger pack
Always remember I never go with the main stream. All my maps where not so seen before. So I think you ll maybe hate Fall of Russia but still like mine even both are same genre

Well, I was talking about the story why the hero becomes an adventurer and the optional quests. I think you deserve the credit for this. ;) Also I now read your thread in the forum and the story about the fishers and such and it's also really good. But AS_Saffah of course deserves credit for the wonderful eyecandy (in town etc.) and for spell-checking. :)

Huh? I don't understand this. I played as player 1 in single player. I played twiced, died twice (after I played some time of course) and both times I got the message that looped.

Yes, I know that and I think it's a great idea. However what I meant is that it looks stupid that they have 1/100 HP or something and not 1/1 HP. I would have changed that by modifying the protounit. But it's not that important.

I meant that it was confusing for me that I could only buy one horse when there are standing several horses. I didn't mean that it's a bad thing that you can only buy one horse.
Overall I don't understand why you don't use the choice dialogue effects instead of a self-created UI. I think this would be much easier and more convenient.
About singleplayer/multiplayer: For me, the map was good playable in singleplayer. It was fun and not to hard to get to the town, do the optional quests and beat that chinese mini boss (chinese monk). What was to hard in single player was to get to the harbor. I don't think this can be done in singleplayer (as long as no mercenaries are available).
Also about the singleplayer version you want to do: I think it would be good if you could control two heroes or such instead of one hero.
Something else I didn't like and forgot to post: If you die, you need to wait some time. I guess this is needed for multiplayer so that the other players get an advantage when you die, but I still don't like to wait. I would've used a different disadvantage for a player who dies. I already know what I would use, but I won't post it here so that no one else will do this before you or I have done it. The town was completly made by myself AS_Saffah just boost the looking of water (but not in the sea in the town) with eye-candy and of course with fixing my english

"Dont use" and "instead" is confusing me in the sentence. Anyway i think you want ask why I dont use Choice Pannels- because I want get lot points in Creativity and the choose buttons neednt an extra space at the map. I just could couple some Choice Pannel to make it to one

three heroes are planned. I think it will be charakter1, Charakter3 and I am not sure about 2/4. You cannot beat the game with one Charakter since it go permantly harder. India town protection is alone impossible (if you dont know constis new masterkey hehe (from my new pw system))

next update will include some trigger shorts since if I add now simple trigger like Unit Creat/Disable Event/Flare Minimap the game wont work anymore (all triggers stop working then):(

Eh, probably not the best idea, as when you have only one, he can die, but if you have two, they can heal each other.
I would just make the Timer condition in the Surgeon Buy trigger 2 or 3 seconds. I would also move this and other Buying circles well away from paths and teleport exits.
If you look at say, what Mèrs or Gunner have done with teleports, they disable the part of the trigger that causes units to try to return to their point of origin. Maybe this is what is needed to keep players from accidentally buying items as soon as they enter the shop. |

I would just make the Timer condition in the Surgeon Buy trigger 2 or 3 seconds. I would also move this and other Buying circles well away from paths and teleport exits.

It was 3 and many people by it accidently too often and each one cost 15 g so if you want have in near future a horse and by accidently 3 surgeons you have to lvl up 5 times (+ maybe 1 time for foddeR)
