this map is made mostly of water and trees. by water i mean a huge river. there are lots of whales in the center of the river thats why most of the fighting will be. your decks have been built for woodcutting,fishing and ship upgrades. i fixed most of the explorer for the right type for each civ before i luanched this. but if u do find any bugs. then let me know.
I havent played it with friends but I think I can give a bit critism
- exact explorers
- good athmosphere (music; terrain)
- day &night circle
- map for people which like defensiv/booming
-blockade is forbidden strategies
- it rains somehow too much (lower the render rain rate would help)
- islands are not connected with the land
result: See fight is a must+no rushes (this can be also seen on the large areas=not for aggresive players and short games)
-I suggest mortar ships are overpowered
-very symetrical landscapes
what can be add:
-random events (earthquakes/acid rains/illness/reinforcement)
-instead of "Made and Edited by Goldenknight" maybe just write "Made by Goldenknight"

idk how to make this kind of trigger your asking for: random events (earthquakes/acid rains/illness/reinforcement)but i will look into it. but not today. and the rain rate is fine. i bet it lags because of a slow comp or all of the water or u have another program slowing down the game. the islands are set apart so the players have to use the river. thats the point. if u would have read the overview. then u would have seen that and u would have seen that this map is not for rushing as well. oh and one more thing there is a trigger that set's the player to defeated if all there units and buildings are dead. that one is for the comps for online play. like in eso. non of the triggers are based on the army set triggers. i don't know how to build those yet.

1.In future you can easily save time when using "SC Starter". This Effect automaticly create the right Explorer(s) +a dog for spain ;). (my triggerset)
2.Random Events based on two things
-generate a random number
...use The Effect "Quest Var Randomize" to create a random number (the number is saved in your Quest Var)
-Step 2: use the condition "Quest Var Get"
Event 1 would get the number 1, Event 2 the number2...
3. The rain doesnt lag in any I just think/thought you exaggerate and choosed your rate too high but it's just subjectiv

4.idk exactly what you want to express
You want that the game can decide if it is a human or a comp
->use "XS - Is Human" from pftq's triggerset s the Condition to decide whether human or computer. The Parameter is the Number of the Player
Suggestion2: You want to use Army triggers
