yakutsk - this is a problem common to many of the scenarios downloaded here. It seems to be related to the fact that the scenarios starts you out as the wrong player. I don't know why they do that, and I don't know how to change the player. Any ideas?

As of 9/8/10, the previously cited problem has not been fixed. Your other scenarios that I can play are all very good, so I would really really like to play this one as well. Pretty please?

aoetree, Yaltem
The problem with the scenarios starting you out as the wrong player is due to the failure of the designer to switch back to player one, after testing, before uploading. Therefore, the scenario loads as player two etc, instead of player one. It's unplayable from the scenario file in it's current state. To play you need to go into the editor and made the change and play the scenario.
On the other hand the designer can do the same and make the change and re-upload the scenario as a revise.

TT, despite sounding like an even greater fool, how do I get to the editor to do this for myself?

aoetree,
When you open the game site, click on "Help and Tools", next click on "Scenario Editor". When the editor opens click on "File", then "load Scenario". Locate the scenario Revolution (or any other scenario you wish to check) and open it. At the top of the screen click on "Scenario" then "Playtest Scenario". Change "Test as Player" to player "1", set play level and then click "OK".
Hope this helps.

The scenario has been fixed so there's no reason to have to do it yourself.
