I'd like to know what triggers you find most useful in particular so that I can expand on those subjects (if possible). |

Here they are:
Conditions: -Player Is Computer
-Player is Team
-Units in Area - Enemy
-Players Defeated - All Enemies
-Units in Area - Ally
Effects:-Civfinder(M925)
-Set Costs for All Units (I haven't tried but I like the idea.)-Army Deploy Everywhere in Area
-Set Computers Defeated
-Send Chat with Player Name:Font And Colour
-Send Chat To Player with Player Name:Font AND Colour -Unit Set Tactic Factory
-Unit Set Tactic Artillery
-Unit Set Tactic
-Damage Enemy Units in Area
-Army Deploy in Random Location
-Damage Allied Units in Area
Unfortunately, I don't really get QV conditions and effects and don't get the point of "Array."

QVs (Quest Vars) are a way to save numbers in your scenario. QVs can be set, randomized, and modified. They can be used to keep track of Player Stats, Unit Stats, or really anything that is a number. They are saved from trigger to trigger, and are often used in randomization -- a thing that cannot otherwise be achieved in a scenario.
QVs can be constructed in a way to create complex formulas and do other math. QVs, in my opinion, are the most important triggers in a scenario -- They make all the difference. I highly recommend you try experimenting with them in your next scenario.
Arrays are generally an even more advanced form of QVs. Arrays can additionally store strings, and are quite complex. A single array can store thousands of strings or numbers. Arrays are recommended only for experts of trigger-usage (Especially QVs).
I'll see what I can expand on in those particular areas also. [Edited on 07/31/10 @ 12:21 PM]

Thank you! I will try to use them and experiment with them. Maybe I can fix my store and gold grant problem... |

Looking forward to testing these in the editor.
I think stuff like Civfinder, QV Get [information from outside the game], and Unit Set Tactic are going to be real useful things people have been looking for.
The arrays look pretty powerful too. I haven't had a chance to use them but it seems like some of them do things it has previously been impossible to do in a scenario, like call players' names and other ways of interacting with the players outside of the box. |

I've been experimenting with the triggers and I must say it is VERY good. I really like it.
There is a problem though:
Unit Set Tactic Crashes Computer.
(Also I know how to use the Array triggers. :) But still messing around with QV. |

I apologize for the Unit Set Tactic; I hope you didn't loose any progress on a scenario you were making (I did). I've fixed it; the next version will have the fixed version. |
