Lost Dutchman's Mine

johnboyz The Spanish and Russians are both trying to find the Lost Dutchman's Mine which is rumoured to exist somewhere on this map. Otherwise, coin is very difficult to locate. In fact, the only resource in abundance seems to be wood.

Rumour and superstition says that ghosts guard the sources of gold but your Queen Isabella believes that it's just the Russians trying to scare you away.

If the Russians discover the gold before you do, your chances of success are slim and none. You must beat them to it; ghosts or not!

To win, you must find the gold AND defeat the Russians. Finding the gold first will make the latter a rather easy task.

There are two long and winding trade routes on this map but there are NO upgrades for them so you will only be gaining XP via the two trade routes and nothing more. Your market could play an important part in rapid advancement.

In testing this, sometimes the Russian explorer gets himself killed by the "ghosts." In these cases, I'm afraid the game is rather easy as they won't build trade posts. Sometimes, the Russians will build docks and a navy; sometimes, they will not.

Load the files into My Docs/My games/AOE3/scenario, just like all the others and watch out for ghosts! 8-)

Additional Comments:
omarin after the messege "dont forget your towncenter wagon" and the camera track that points to it i couldnt get a normal view anymore the camera stood in a funny angle restarted it 3 time and did the same... so i couldent finish the game. Is that camera angle intedtional?
Sangman Really fun to play, but it seems like the AI for the Russians is missing? They just stand at their base doing nothing - Until I kill them.

Anyways you managed to create an eerie atmosphere, but there were way too many trees and cliffs and stuff - It was really hard for my troops to manouver through that.

Also there is a laggy spot (for me at least) near those "ghosts" on the South-East of the map.

Apart from that, really fun to play.

The map has some nice eye candy and would get a 5 except for the size...it's frickin huge!

The instructions are clear and concise

The Russian ai is completely bugged as they built absolutely nothing... :/

I fogot something....HUGE trade route but I'm not sure why...you can't upgrade it to get resources and the xp does nothing because you get no cards...
