I started with the perfect crates for this and I found the wood treasure I needed to really get going. I got my natives in his base a little slow, they idled for a bit, but they still picked off a few villagers, a significant dent to the French early economy. There were unusually scarce resources in the center and not too many mines on my native trade post side where I normally drop my second Town Center. Notice that he killed no villagers because my Native Posts and second Town Center provide excellent sight. Thats why I took the more forward Comanche post. I don't know why I let his CDB and MM take out so much of my army but I think I had already doomed him by then.
Overall a good game, I've had a lot of success with this against the French, it stops their rushes, fast fortresses, and it perfectly counters the 5 hussar semi fast fortress.

Capablanca23 Ok I was surprised by the early market used by both your french opponents. Maybe I'll try that...It looks like you played very well in both games. The map control squeezed the life of them. Really though the french shouldn't have made a stable first, it should of been a rax, imo.

Yeah early markets with France is quite typical. The choke is also the heart of this strategy against France because even though they boom up and mass CDB, they run out of herds before they can put their economy to good use.
