This is version 5 of the Age of Empires 3 update pack.
New features included are:
-Population limit is now 500! (Designed by Nicifer)
-Walls now make it harder to convert the buildings around them.
-The menu’s and loading screens now uses the Black UI.
-Fixed glitch where Ottoman’s could no longer train settlers after revolting.
-All Human units now heal slowly. This is to simulate the fact that people heal.
-Re-ordered units in Barracks since upgrades were not always in the right row.
-All civilizations can now build Transport Wagons.
-Flying Dutchman is added to the editor.
-New maps from the fan patch are included. (See credit below)
I had to split the file into two parts because its over the Heaven Games size limits.
The full package is located here:http://mystickypost.com/groups/age-of-empires-3/forum/topic/aoe3-update-pack-5-0/
For the 500 population limit to work, you must launch the game using the file “popmodlauncher.exe” located within your AOE3 folder. I suggest putting a shortcut to it on your desktop.
The Fan Patch and it's maps were created by Zutazuta of AgeSanctuary(Now RTS-Sanctuary).
They have graciously given me permission to use features from it.

I don't know the exact point of this mod, it only unbalances the game really badly, and each civ loses its unique characteristics, the new pop cap of 500 will only cuz immense lag on weaker systems, u should've mentioned it in the description. The patrol and guard commands don't work either.
Creative in a sense that the game is more chaotic, it may appeal to some, but other more pratical people probably not.

Didn't specifically pay close attention to this, the mod doesn't introduce any new units or sounds, so no penalty in this section
yea, clear and quick
This mod just doesnt have the essence for me, enabling so much content that previouly was allocated to specific civs to make them unique and orderly ruins the gameplay for me, while some of the features do shine, they cannot suffice for the mess this mod presents.

Firstly, I want to thank you very much for this mod. I have been following this mod for a long time (since version 2.0 I believe) and I have never stopped loving it since. I love all of the game-play options that you have given me in this game. I like how you made trains deadly the most, though. I always thought it was kind of silly that a train would pass harmlessly through my troops. Although I've lost a good amount of men because of the new feature, it's still a great addition nonetheless.
There are also many other gameplay features such as the more brutal AI, the ability to build walls over trade routes, the new pop cap (500? WOW!), and the overall feel of the mod. All that I believe is missing is a unique ability for the Native American War Chiefs, but I don't find that too be that big of a deal. It just makes fighting the Europeans as the Iroquois that much more enjoyable :P
I think that all of the features that were added to the mod were pretty well thought-out. They make the game much more enjoyable, in my honest to god opinion. The only reason that this isn't a five is because I know that you'll come up with more ideas, therefore leading me to believe that this mod doesn't contain all of your ideas yet.
Keep up the great work though :)

I love the vanilla (original, unmodded, game)art in the game, and since this mod doesn't/take to from it, I'll give you a five for this one (though I'm not saying that if you changed the art that I'd give you a lower score).
Plain, simple, clear, and concise. Perfectly executed and the installer will help those who don't know how to add mod files manually.
By this, I'm assuming that they mean your description of your mod. I say that your description perfectly describes what to expect in this pack. Five out of five here :)
@Arkantoz Jr: I do hope that you continue this mod. I love all of the features you are adding and I'm glad you're persevering with your project, despite some negative feedback.
@mandosrex: I love total war! It's my favorite game series. It's actually what made me interested in Age of Empires. Strategy games are the best :)
@Everybody: Could you guys please stop fighting. For one thing, if a person doesn't like a mod, so what? As long as the creator himself likes the mod, then that's all that matters. A troll will be a troll (not to be confused with a person who offers input on how to improve the game rather than just complaining about stupid little things). No point in feeding them. If you don't like the mod, don't play it.
If you like the mod, enjoy it. Simple as that. Writing a low scoring review is perfectly fine, it's the bickering that comes afterward that isn't necessary. I understand if you don't agree with somebody, but don't start a flame war. It's only going to get ugly. Instead, just post what you think about the mod (not about the other person) and hope it brings the mod closer to what you believe it should be.
