This is a short scenario. I designed it simply to show off what I believe to be some nifty scenario building skills. (although my trigger work remains to be deemed competent).
it's a well rounded scenario, completely finished, almost seamless. you'll be fighting off waves of Florentine soldiers and, if you're a smart player you'll get to recruit some other soldiers to your cause and boost your soldier's HP!
All in all this is a simple scenario meant to promote attractive world design and such... I tried my best to make my little piece of land look rather nice, if a bit simple.
Overall opinion: A very short but good average scenario that could use improvements in some areas.
I started off with 20 Swiss Pikemen, 20 Longbowmen and 6 Elmeti. Even though the computer enemy had far more units, he attacked in waves and his units were inferior - mostly colonial pikemen and x-bows.
Actually, all I did in this scenario was sending my troops from one end of the town to the other with attack move while I explored the map with my hero.
You don't have any settlers or a town center, only your mercenaries, so the scenario differs from a normal skirmish scenario. I got one sidequest which I couldn't do in time unfortunately, because my troops defeated the attackers the moment my hero found the neutral mercenaries...
Map Design: 3
The map design is good, but nothing spectacular. I didn't like how most of the map is basically empty, without anything to do (no treasures, few quests etc.)
There was no cutscenes, but the instructions were decent. I didn't know where to find the hireable mercenaries though (as mentioned above).
This is actually quite good if it's one of your first scenarios. Just a bit too short and easy.
