" THE CONQUEST OF TENOCHTITLAN part 3"
Hernan Cortes formed important Alliances with the TOTONACAS and the TLAXCALTECAS, but he still had one more city to conquer before reaching TENOCHTITLAN...The city of CHOLULA.
Cortes set up a meeting with the leaders of CHOLULA at the central plaza of the city. The people of CHOLULA didnt react as the spanish
expected at their arrival so there was a short moment of peace...but History was about to change!
The Spanish knew that Gods will.. by orders of the Pope was to Sail to the New World and put all the Native Indians under the custody of the Catholic Church.

Good job again. No lag, victory and postgame worked. My only complaint is that the enemey kept spawning in the same places after I'D already swept and area. When the village is destroyed they should stay dead.
Balance: 4
Only real problem was the re-spawns. I'd suddenly have 30 enemy troops behind me even though I'd wiped them out.
Creativity: 5
Nice job again, good idea, well executed.
Map Design: 5
Again, great map. Nice features and bottlenecks.
Story/Instructions: 5
I knew what to do and where to go.
Additional Comments:
Thanks for making it. Challenging and took quite a while to complete. Only other complaint was the condition for Cortes to be alive. I got all the way to the end the first time and lost because he got nailed in the swarm. Still a great map. |

Its fun, but its just like the 2nd part. But its good.
Balance: 5
Once again, u kept everything in place and in tune with your forces and them.
Creativity: 4
Its pretty much the same story
Map Design: 4
This once is probably the best of all 3 so far. Its very complex, but not that much detail tho.
Story/Instructions: 5
Its like the 2nd part, with the aztecs surprise attacks. Good cinematics like all of them.

I played all the 3 maps, and I have to say "well done"!
I don't like the "rotating" of the 3rd map, it made me confused and it did not add too much fun to the story either, but I'm looking forward to the 4th map.
Thank you for the nice maps! |

Severe lag problems with this. So bad at one point that it was difficult to take charge of my men. Lag was about three seconds of 'real' time vs. one second of game time. As with Part Two, your constant spawns and attacks hampered greatly the carrying out of the game's objectives. At one point, I truly had to go back and check what the objectives were.
As I stated with my review of Part Two of your series, you REALLY need to learn how to stop the spawning sometime in the game. Once a city or area of cloning has been cleared... the spawning should stop. This can easily be done with triggers! I found and had explored the city I was supposed to be looking for long before the objective for it announced that I should be there. There was no indication what that city was... Why, when the city "turns" on Cortez are the walls not attackable??
Balance: 1
I killed 3,689 Aztecs (red) in this compared to a loss of only 381 men. As with Part Two, I was forced to build walls to stop the attacks and built a couple of towers and placed a couple of cannons and skirmishers around the walls to kills the clones. The clones did NOT try to attack the walls and escape... they just pressed up against the walls and were shot.
Creativity: 3
Creativity comes in the form of rewriting history. What was not creative in Part Two was also not creative in Part Three.
Map Design: 2
Overall, your design was nice but there were too many places in the map where movement was restricted or complicated by the design. Did you play this game yourself?? Were you successful??
Story/Instructions: 2
The instructions were OK but as with the last part, a little misleading. I took Cortez into the city ALONE and he was not killed. I did not try to escape out the front door with him... I went to the bottom right of the map and laid low next to a wall until the fighting had concluded. All of the purple warriors ran to the front completely ignoring Cortez.
Additional Comments:
The constant changing of view of the map was very disorienting and detrimental to the enjoyment of gameplay. At times, the players appeared to still be "cinematics" instead of the normal game characters.

Far, far too much lag in this game! It was long enough as it was but you've created so many extra people on this that it was difficult to stay interested in the game for very long at all. Get rid of all the extra players and speed up the game to keep it interesting.
Balance: 1
Easy to win but very tedious and monotonous.
Creativity: 2
After two of these already, any sort of creativity has long vanished. I looked on History.com because some things didn't seem right and their version of Cortez's trip to Mexico was a little different than yours.
Map Design: 2
A little below average honestly. The computer is not up to some of your narrow spaces to pass through.
Story/Instructions: 2
I don't wish to sound redundant and I'm not trying to be mean but you need a good English dictionary.
