I have a question! AI is one of my modding weak spots, I regret to say I don't understand much of it :p
With your knowledge of AI do you think that it is possible for the AI to use unit powers and wonder powers? How about tactics such as unit formations?
Also, thanks for the file, it comes really handy!

Unit formations might be possible.
Never mind. Defence tactic is bugged. It turns on stand ground stance simultaneously.
The AI cannot use wonder powers for certain.
Most unit powers aren't available.
Only sharpshooter and convert guardian are working currently.

Thank you, I was curious if it was possible to see units adapting different formations according to the situation, but it seems it won't be possible...
And I assume modded powers won't be possible either that way...

hello, really good reference for AOE3 like the old xs reference for age of mythology good miscellaneaus file for AI modding .
can you please tell me how did you extract those from aoe3.exe what utilities did you use for it is it ( retro ingeneering ) ? .

Rename files Ztest.xs to aiMain or no sir.

hello saintxray i know how to use the file ztest
by opening the ailoaderstandard :
include "aiHeader.xs"; // Gets global vars, function forward declarations
include "aiMain.xs"; // The bulk of the AI
and replace aimain by ztest that is known from others AI modders , what i asked panmaseter2014 is how did he extracted those functions reference from the AOE.EXE if you know what i mean .
