An enjoyable one to watch overall.

I rate it ‘only’ 4 Stars: 5 for the victors –1, owing to the ‘betrayal’ on the side of the vanquished. Sorry guys – just how I see it…

‘Classic’ invasion & extermination wrought by the militarily prepared against the militarily unprepared.

The final effort ‘Last Stand’ to hold the ground already all but lost is admirable, but entirely too late by too small a force without any meaningful support from an Ally which had been left in the lurch.
I couldn’t help but remark the injustice of that.

In the initial phases, when Keeper of Pudding may well have lost his few (Portuguese) colonists and buildings to a modest-sized enemy incursion, his ally Calamus (Ottoman) came to his aid and pulled his lard out of the fire (so to speak).
Later, when the tables were turned and the assault was overwhelming Calamus’ Ottomans and exterminating them wholesale – Keeper of Pudding did nothing but continuously pump out more colonists. The sound of each new Colonist coming into being was another chime in the ringing of the death knell for both of them.
No way he was ever going to defeat both enemy camps without his ally – and he didn’t even Attempt to prevent him being wiped out completely.

So go the horrors & the Fortunes of war…

This one tells its whole story in ‘black & white.’
Grumpy Ghost and Throwdown deserved their victory laurels.
It may have been in New England, but they swept over the landscape like a hot Anatolian wind.

Nicely done guys …
Cheers ..!
