WARNING: This scenario have an issue that is not possible, on this version, to save the game and reload on a second time the saved game. Player will be switched irreversibly to France with partial control (map and control panel view only, commands are done by AI). Is possible to play the game without technical issues only if in one continuous match. Notes about the problem are on the section "comments".
Napoleon won in Waterloo, keep the control of France and now is buiding fortifications.
Murat, after the first moment, decided to be allied of Napoleon.
This time, Player is the Prince of the Netherland. You must cross the river, enter France and conquer the Command of the area.
Enemy have a star-shaped fortress and fix guns protecting a fortificated region. You must find and kill Murat (unit Bolivar) and clear the area, opening the way to south.
If one of your ally (Duke of Wellington or von Blucher) will be defeated, the war will be lost. Cannot happen!
Hang in there, eighth Coalition!
Note: the real end of the Napoleon's campaign is Waterloo. The eighth Coalition has never been existed, since Napoleon was defeated by the seventh Coalition.
This "extra" and the next one are done in order to make an alternative end of the Napoleonic era. They are supposed to be really difficult.

I lost an ally - therefore the game - before even getting to 3rd Age. There was hardly any fighting going on. This scenario would still be enjoyable without ally defeat ending it. |

Dear PJCPJC, first of all thank you very much for playing my scenarios and sharing your opinion.
As "file creator" for sure is always easier for me playing my scenarios, and for this one I have done quite a lot of test. The result was that, without the "ally defeated end game trigger" the winning of the game was sure 100%, because of the distance of the enemy. At age 5 game was stabilizing with predictable and easily interceptable attacks, that after building some fortifications was only a matter of time in order to win. With that trigger germans are on danger from the beginning, making more game options... but I have always been defeated because of their loss. I have put - if you have seen - a civilian girl with her house nearby the german village. She is supposed to build fortifications there, or even better closing the passage from the french partition. You will see that the yellow brigade will be gradually defeated by germans without your action. Now I am updating a new version, with a crossing on the river. That will involve more the british, and will make a new hotspot. Yes, the result is that will be even more difficult. I think that this is an "extra" after the end of the campaign (the real end is obviously Waterloo), so I try to made it much difficult as I can. The next one will end completely the serie, and will be even more difficult. Actually I have the file ready, but I will publish it only after seeing that is possible at least to win.
At last, the "team trigger" is also important for the reason that the events are in relations between each other and making the story behind the campaign.
After, i will create the missing scenarios of the campaign. If you wish to play with one of them, just tell me and I will make it for first. The list of chapters is on several comments done by me. This will take a bit more time, since I need to create the maps too. Thank you again and have a nice day :) |

Also, upon saving the game, when I reload it gives me the French side, with partial control. Can that be fixed please? |

I seen where the problem is, and is not regarding this scenario only. The same problem appear on the maps where player (human) is different than #player 1.
Actually I seen now that Chapter 13 have the same problem.
I cannot solve this issure without editing a new scenario on the same map. For now I will leave as it is, I am sorry that can be played in one round only without saving.
I haven't found any information about this type of problem, if someone know how to fix it, please inform me and I will update the two files. |

I finished it a few minutes ago. I was only just able to save Blucher's town and then patience and strategy finally won the game. Thank you and please make some more massive scenarios! |
