" THE CONQUEST OF TENOCHTITLAN part 4"


In November 8 year 1519 the Spanish force of 400 men and more than 1000 allies entered TENOCHTITLAN. The day had come and the end was near.


- Try to be patient with the first five minutes of the game (lilte lagy)cuase of the amount of information, units, eye-candy, etc . But this map required it.

Part 5 will be the last scenario of the "Conquest of Tenochtitlan campaing"

I´d wish AOE III had a beter engine or i had a beter computer to avoid the lag, hope you folks understand we cant allways controll this bug when big numbers of units are involved.

no sharp there is a Part-5. where cortes returns to tenochtitlan with more allies to finish his conquest and destroy the Aztec religion (ships involved) as you remember in part 4 Cortes and his army run away from the city outnumbered.

let me ask you a couple of questions if you dont mind.

- how many times did you play it before wining?
- did you get to lose: cortes? a gold wagon? your army?
- were you surprised with atacks you didnt expect?
-did you really need strategy?

Additional Comments:
Nice map design, but lagging. And most importantly, the game does not finish, I got my 3 wagons and Cortes right next to the Flag, but no trigger. Now there is no more baddies in the map, I just can't end it.

now this is strange I tested the game like 5 times before releasing, and it worked well.

there is a trigger for the end with the condition: "distance to point"

I really enjoyed playing this map...very playable...I didn't get that much lag til the end when a bazillion Aztecs came in from the north.

Balance: 4
I thought the balance was good...I barely got Cortez and the gold out of there. Without the cannons this woulda been a very different scenario. The Natives seemed to be very upgraded.

Creativity: 4
A gave you a 4 here because even though you are re-telling a story (sort of)...you brought it all together well...see map design for more

Map Design: 5
REALLY nice work on the island! The temples were cool with the built in towers. Nice use of terrain height to make the temples (some of them) bigger...it worked well!

Story/Instructions: 4
The story and cinematics told the tale well...There was never a doubt as to what was to be done...

Great job on this one IMHO....
