Game Version: AoE3+TWC+TAD
This upload unlocks the American Civilization.

Copy "homecitySPCAct3" and "civs" files into:

Steam - Steam apps - common - Age of Empires 3 - bin - data

After your done with creating your new homecity, rename or remove the "civs.xml" file

from your "data" folder. This will allow you to continue online.

You can also create an American Homecity online, but be sure to remove the "civs"

file in order not to have CRC Mismatch.

Be sure to run VANILLA AOE3 first, then try out the expansions.

It wont create the HC and new civ otherwise!

To acquire all the new cards you need to play on War Chiefs or Asian Dynasties.

Since the player starts with no explorer, I have added two maps, which start with Explorer and Major Cooper for the American Player. These work online.

Copy the Custom "American" Maps & the .xml files from RM3 into

My Documents - My Games - Age of Empires III - RM3

Then you will be able to play Custom "American" Maps with the starting explorer.

I have also added Bandeirantes card to be sent in Discovery Age.

Idea based on my own ideas and civs.xml.xmb taken from iamchanceless' "Special Civs on ESO" Mod.

Just to say, your initial homecities won't be visible until AFTER you take civ.xml.xmb away. This is because the file temporarily overrides the existing civilizations, allowing you to create the American homecity.

I have tested and am unable to create an American homecity online. This should work for single player and LAN if all players have homecitySPCAct3 installed.

CrazyDude707 Saw that you could add cards. Is this the case for online play as well? Also, would you be able to take this project further? Iamchanceless left many civs in an unplayable state. Would you be interested in working on a Malta HC for Online play?

I can add Malta to a project. That said I know that LAN will work if all players have the new cards, and you can play online against computers, but I am not sure online against players will work even if you both have the new homecity (did some previous testing with new cards and modified cards my N3O Mod with someone who also had it installed, and I got "Out of Sync").

I got the Maltese and Black's Mercenaries civ working, although the Knights of Malta can only go to Fortress Age and John's Mercenaries can only go to Industrial Age.

I modified Iamchanceless file for civs.xml for both Maltese and Black's Mercenaries and I have begun work on homecites (the reason these civ could not be played in single player with home city was because the homecitySPCAct1 and homecitySPCAct2 files were only in the campaign directory, not in the data directory as directed from the main civs.xml file).

It may take some time to build decks, but I can release what I have soon enough.

Post Industrial does not unlock new techs for Malta.
