Home City Buildings Editor Patch v0.1

jonathan1222 Tired of having to stick to plain colonial buildings when making your cities? Now, you can add the towering cathedrals from the homcities to your cities, as well as the manufacturing plant, academy, trade center and harbor.

A warning though:
Since the buildings were ment to only be viewed from the front, some of thee buildings will have bad texturing at the back, and in some cases, no back or side at all. This includes the Spanish, portuguese, british, dutch and Ottoman temple. Of course, you can still use them, just add other buildings (that you can overlapp to meet the hieght of the home city buildings) beside and behind them and the problem shall be fixed. Also, the buildings can be walked through, so keep caution to only use these buildings in scenarios where you can ensure such won't happen. For example, you can place houses inside these buildings, out of view, to prevent it from happening. And they have no animations beside idle, so only use them as eyecandy.

Some of the buildings have openings, like the portuguese and ottoman academies, so you can have units walking in and out of them.

Installation Instructions:
1.If you have any mods already installed, make sure to keep they're proto backed up so you can add them later. Otherwise, skip this step.
2.Untick the Read-Only format on the proto.xml file in Microsoft Games/AoE3/Data.
3.Back-up the original proto.sml
4. Overwrite the file.

Now you may add these towering buildings to your scenarios.

Special thanks goes to Tomyboy for his guide on how to add HC units to the editor, without it, it would have taken longer.

Wow, It's great to see a start at importing the homecity obejcts, I really hope you follow through and also add the terrains and smaller objects in the homecitites to the editor as well. Great mod, dude.
tbarak Nice job jonathan, I finally had a chance to DL and install this and the buildings look great. Should add some variety to people's scenarios at least. The missing backs is a limitation in some of them, but with strategic placement I don't think it's a big issue.

I cannot seem to find them!

duck21 Could you put the Aztec home city buildings into this because I want to make a scenario about that massive Aztec city I forget how to spell it, its like techanio or something. It would make my year.
