Note: This is the Release Version of the DEATHMATCH ADDON MOD.

We bring you Version 1.0 of the Realism Mod. Through heavy rebalancing thanks to suggestions from Gold Rust,the new version is out. More Fun than ever. More Realism than Ever. More Balance than ever.

Assembled using the latest Realism TouchTechnology? the Realism Touch Mod brings you more realism and fun than ever. Not only does it create more realism, it is also extremely balanced. The Mod adds a lot of flavour to the game. With the Realism Touch Technology? it all depends on strategy now.
- Muskets now have real power, getting hit from it 1- 4 times means you die.

- Cannons move very slowly but are extremely powerful. Protect it, send it to the battle, and the tide of the war will change.

-Forts and Outposts. Rebalanced so they don't get destroyed by swarms of troops. They are extremely powerful, and you will require some cannons to take them down! Forts and Outposts now attack faster, and are stronger. To represent that there are huge cannons and guns in them!

-Gather rates have been increased graetly, with lower unit costs. This will allow for the muzzle 2 muzzle musket warfare you've always wanted. All gather rates are the same for more fun!

-Longer Battles, with the new rebalancing, your game will last much longer, and with new Anti-Rush Technology? even playing in expert mode, you won't get destroyed in an early rush. Even non experts can play deep into expert mode.

- For additional fun, our Quick-Processing Technology?brings you realistic training times. Field hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of musketeers within minutes. But fielding skirmishers, snipers, and longbowmen will take longer.

- Crazy battles and skirmishes will occur when playing with our Realism Touch Mod. You will see AoE III: Colonization at a different perspective and fun at a new level. This is all done possible with our Realism Touch Technology?

Install Notes:
Download File and place in:
Aoe Install Directory / Data
Repalce the proto.xml there, but remember to BACKUP the original.

sithlordmichael What use is a game or mod that is completly balanced? A game is almost no fun balanced completly.

I've been thinking of doing this for AoE3 for Mac and Command & Conquer Generals, but when I made the mod for CC: G, I realized that you had to compensate realism at times to make the game more playable. I would recommend this for people who like hardcore realism, but probably things like slow cannons and stuff might cause a nuisance to players used to faster paced games.

An idea: How about adding a realism level thing, similar to difficulty level only for realism? (e.g.: in the skirmish setup?)
KnightsCross i changed some things in this mods cause i really hate the falconets.. its killin my regiments in just 1 shot and is freakn slow. i removed it by seting its price to 1000000 lol (includes all artillary)

and also i made elizabeth and isabella to only use musketeer and is so awesome they send ever min. like 3 regiments(40 musketeers) and i get the line to line musket battle i ever want:DD and they also use pikeman/rodelero i dunno datxD well they us it mostly but not always sometimes
