British Columbia is a RMS script which creates a winter forest landscape with a reddish sun overhead. A river clad in reeds runs through the map, but can be crossed in plenty of places. Day turns into night and back as you play.
i too have the same problem with this map it doesnt have any river and it doesnt have a nigth and day cycle and i too have a good computer that has been be able to play asll the other maps.

Additional Comments:
Original, creative and excelent. Good play but some notes of unequality. Although its meant to be this way I do't belive it should be. A 5 star map is balanced - but 2 thumbs up on this one.

The readme file should explain exactly where to put the files.
IF YOU DONT GET A RIVER OR NIGHT-DAY IT IS VERY LIKELY YOU DIDNT PUT THE FILES IN THE RIGHT LOCATION.
Possibly if you dont get night-day you put the light files or others in the my games folders instead of program/msoft games....
Remember, the maps go one place, but the other files (which control river graphics and night-day and some other stuff) go another.
I dont think you can have a gfx card that doesnt support night-day, all it does is switch lighting.
Check the readme again.

this is a really nice rms. the river is layed out well and the placement of native villages is okay. the day/night thing cycles at a good rate; my only complaint would be that it gets too dark to play, which is an interesting dynamic but forces you to go on defense mostly. i did enjoy how the artillery looked at night, though; their barrel flashes are about the only thing easily visible. and i never noticed that sparks blew out and landed on the ground. great fun all in all.
