Pentagoet v3 Retired

Author File Description
File Details
Game Version: AoE3
This is a history oriented scenario, taking place 1667 at Fort Pentagoet. This Trading Post saw much action through the years changing hands more often then not. Baron Saint Castin was born of an Albenki Princess and a fathered by a French noble who did train him rigorously. Use Castin's unique prospective, allied with the Albenki Confederation and ties to France to protect a resource laden region of Arcadia, for France.

My apologies to the first 13 dl's NEW version 2 is kosher.
csuve It's difficult at the beginning of the game that you have to build up your army while defending your buildings. Limiting the population total and building total seems to make the game less interesting.

Hi, ya I can see why you would think that, yet if you stick with it it's progressive. The first cap is fourfive yet with Tomahawk throwers is about 55. Yet by the time you have a true enemy you bumped up the 60 with two maybe three tradepost so now were at about 90, and its not such a big map with all the water. Theres sum neat stuff, Don't give up! By the way there is a way to boost you build limit but its a battle reward.

This is more interesting I would say otherwize go play a random map.

If folks could make a comment or two on the scenario just a little endorsment, hate to think people may miss this due to lack of enthusiasm.
PureAlbino Pentagoet is a very well made scenario, which thrives on its storyline, and the designers clear knowledge of the unfinished editor. Limiting the number of units imo did not make the game less interesting, but made it different from just another sp skirmish. The cinematics are excellent with the use of skyboxes and dialog distinguishing them from others I’ve seen. Map design and eye-candy are of a high quality as should be expected of Sziggi's work. The limited pop count and small map size also means there should be no lag issues.

Well thanks for your time to post always good to hear things are going in the right direction. Hope I can keep your interest with the next title "The Defence of PortRoyal". Should be many more projects on the way with the new cinematic contest coming so more entertainment there. Happy Gaming!

The end game I did break to a declair winner isted of ending so you could get into the post game if wanted, yet is maybe not the best ending for a noAI scn.

RiderOfEternity Well done on a fantastic scenario! Well, what I've played so far has been fantastic anyway. The map is quite nice without being laggy, and there's some nice secrets :) The game starts simply and gets more and more interesting as you go on. Recommend playing :D

Hi Gearai, it was good to speak with you. And for the record, no mods necessary for this scn.
