File Details
Game Version: AoE3
This is a history oriented scenario, taking place 1667 at Fort Pentagoet. This Trading Post saw much action through the years changing hands more often then not. Baron Saint Castin was born of an Albenki Princess and a fathered by a French noble who did train him rigorously. Use Castin's unique prospective, allied with the Albenki Confederation and ties to France to protect a resource laden region of Arcadia, for France.

I wouldn't call it easy...but in reality it isn't that hard either. Very playable scenario...took a bit of getting used to with the native resource gatherers.

Balance: 4
I had to gibe you a bit of a ding here. But really for only one reason. I could NOT age up to 4....I had tons of resources and the option was available to me...but when I clicked it nothing would happen. Glad I didn't lose my dock because I wouldn't have been able to build one!

Creativity: 5
Very creative...truly a nice scenario with some cinematics...then some play then a lil more cinematics...Nicely done...adding some pop cap when certain objectives are met was cool.

Map Design: 5
Nice map design...although you could choose to go any direction....the map tended to lead you in the right way to reach objectives...some eye candy and terrain differences were nice. I did wonder about the signal fires...I had em but no reason to light them by the short storyline and no way TO light them anyway. Overall great map.

Story/Instructions: 3.5
This was a bit lacking...but partly because on occassion when an objective was met it did NOT get a checkmark so I wasn't certain if I had down what I was supposed to.

Additional Comments:
Overall it was a bang up job...I liked it!

Definitely fun. I started off by playing cautiously so I spent a good deal of wood at my market. It plays too much like a regular SP though.

Balance: 3
Very easy for my skill level but it could present a challenge for some players.

Creativity: 4
Nice cinematics, overall it is above average but short of excellent.

Map Design: 5
Your best area. Very nice. It's obvious you took your time in this category and did an excellent job.

Story/Instructions: 4
Again it is alright. You threw in some things that I didn't quite understand at the beginning which made me confused but overall it is not bad at all.

Additional Comments:
This was released a while ago I realize but it is still a very good and fun scenario for anyone looking through the older files here at HG. So if you don't have it, get it!
